Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Decontamination Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for Military and Civilian Agencies
Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Decontamination Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for Military and Civilian Agencies: This manual is designed for use at the tactical and operational levels. This manual provides multiservice tactics, techniques, and procedures (MTTP) for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) decontamination. It defines the roles of units and staffs involved in the preparation, planning, and execution of decontamination operations. It addresses the requirements for the different techniques used in decontamination. It addresses the support the Department of Defense (DOD) may have to provide to support homeland security (HLS). The planning and coordination for CBRN decontamination takes place with the realization that the potential CBRN environment could be one in which there is deliberate or accidental employment of CBRN weapons, or deliberate or accidental attacks or contamination with toxic industrial material (TIM).
