'Chiaroscuro' refers to the play of light and shadow, usually employed in art. Here, the poet has tried to paint a picture of the world and various issues in it, presenting a subtle fusion of the mundane and the sublime, mainly using blank verse.
This is the first collection of poems by Mrittunjoy Guha Majumdar in an e-book format. Poems include Periwinkles, The Scimitars and Metal-Birds in Yankee-Pradesh. He intends to continue this series of poetry collections.

About the Author:
Mrittunjoy Guha Majumdar is a student of Physics at St. Stephen's College, Delhi. He has been writing poems since his school days and has been part of various poetry reading events, mainly in Delhi. He was one of the selected poets for the 100 Poets' Summit by the Delhi Poetree Nite Society.
