Choices: Our choices make up our character and who we are as individuals
Some of these stories are experiences I have had, and some are fiction. We all make choices every day—what food we're going to eat, friends we'll make, how we speak to one another, whether we befriend a stranger, what we will wear, what movie or TV program we watch, what we'll do on the weekends, what school or college we will attend, what car we will buy, where we will live, what kind of pet we want, whether we want to eat dinner at a restaurant or have fast food, where will we vacation, what church we will attend, and what job we want. Life is made up of daily choices, and those choices make up our character and who we are as individuals.
This book will hopefully help you make some of these choices in your own life. I made the choice to write this book, and with the encouragement of family and friends, I did.

About the Author

Marilyn Guier grew up in Webster Groves, Missouri, where she always felt safe. Her brother, sister, and she were raised in a Christian home where Sundays were spent attending church and having family time together. Her parents never preached to them, instead showed their Christian belief in their kindness to others and daily living.
She went to college to get a teaching degree but married after two years and now has five wonderful children and eight delightful grandchildren. She worked as a teacher’s aide for the Special School District and then for the Parkway School District in St. Louis County. When she retired, she volunteered for the Oasis Program, helping children learn to read. She enjoys traveling with her family, making greeting cards for family and friends, and working in her yard and garden.
