About the Author

Roger Olivares lived in Crete between 2001 and 2002 and traveled extensively, learning and loving the people, the history and the culture.
Roger also lived and traveled in Spain writing "How Granada Was Won," "Teresa of Avila," "Siege of the Alcazar," and an audio travel guide of Spain's 20 major destinations.
He was a graduate of the University of Illinois, Fulbright scholar, MS in Communications. He was born in the Philippines and wrote the landmark book, Noli Me Tangere 2. He now lives in the United States.
