The Clanology of the Subspecies is a school, of sorts, that Kain Charless created to teach the Subspecies, mutated humans, about the Clans of their world. Hoping that one day they would be accepted once more as equals, instead of just animals to be led to the slaughter. As the leader of the Draco Clan and a seer to boot, he knows things the other Clans and beings do not.
Among which is the true reason behind the Foster Care and their rise to power. He knows about their experimentations, their slavery, and murders, but without the backing and help of the other Clans, he doesn't stand a chance of defeating them. That is until their salvation arrives in his office, asking permission to attend his school.
Jake Lupus is the Alpha of the Lupus Clan and presides over the Solarius Clan as well while their Matriarch is still lost to them. When his brothers decided to study at the Clanology, he packed his bags and followed them, unwilling to allow his family to be unprotected.
Being extremely powerful and inexperienced, he refuses to allow weak beings around him or his family in fear they may accidently harm them. He also holds no desire to be around nor live with any of the Subspecies.
Anne Smith is a slave. One in hiding, though one all the same. When she was but an infant, her parents abandoned her upon the doorstep of the Foster Care.
