Club Sin comes alive once again in this decadent short novel from USA Today bestselling author Stacey Kennedy.
A dedicated cop, Sawyer Quinn blows off steam by immersing himself in his role as a Master at the hottest club in Las Vegas. But when Sawyer goes after the perp who brutally beat his sister, he teams up with Chloe Nash, a sexy private investigator who awakens a sweet new need: to keep her to himself, away from the dungeon of Club Sin. Chloe is beautiful, smart, and too innocent for the lifestyle. Sawyer’s never wanted a woman like this before. Is her love worth swearing off the one thing that keeps him sane?
There’s something different about Sawyer: a commanding strength that pulls Chloe into a vortex of heady desire. But when she learns about his double life as a Dom, she’s shocked—and afraid she could never complete him. Then he saves her life, and just like that, Chloe knows she will be able to give him anything he desires. She is his—wherever and however he wants to take her.

Chapter 5

Sawyer’s house was a total surprise. Because he was such an alpha type of man, Chloe thought he’d have a simple home, with sports memorabilia on the walls and a big-screen TV as the focal point in the room. But his home was very nicely designed and decorated, a warm living space.

Located in the west end of Las Vegas, his two-story redbrick house didn’t display any extravagance. She did notice, however, how clean and uncluttered everything was. From top to bottom, she couldn’t find a speck of dust anywhere.

After using the bathroom, she found Sawyer in the living room. “I thought you might like this,” he said with a smile, offering her a glass of wine.

She accepted the drink. “Thanks. I sure do.”

As she took an appreciative sip, she scanned the room’s open layout. The back of the house had a chef’s kitchen, with black marble countertops surrounded by cherrywood cabinets. The dining room was furnished in dark wood, and black leather couches flanked by glass end tables decorated the living room.

“You’re killing me here,” said Sawyer, voice dry. “Please tell me what you’re thinking.”

Chloe swallowed the wine and turned to him. He rested a hip against the couch, arms crossed over his thick chest and brow furrowed. “I cannot get over how nice your house is.”

His eyes creased at the corners. “You thought I’d live like a pig?”

“No, of course not.” She waved him off. “I’m just impressed.”

He reached down and grabbed his beer off the end table. “Don’t be too impressed. I have a cleaning service that comes biweekly. And Ash decorated the place.” He moved to the couch, taking his cell phone from his pocket and placing it on the coffee table. “When I bought the house a while back, I gave her my credit card and a spending limit and told her to have fun.”

Chloe noted the teal afghan draped across the recliner by the bay window, which should’ve been a dead giveaway of a woman’s touch. Most men didn’t care about throw blankets. Keeping her wineglass tight in her hand, she went and sat on the love seat opposite him. “Is that what Ash does for a living?”

He swallowed the beer in his mouth and nodded. “She’s been an interior designer for a couple of years.” At Chloe’s obvious bafflement, he chuckled. “Why does that shock you?”

“Her house was”—she half shrugged—“not designed.”

“She hasn’t lived there long.” He rested his ankles on the ottoman, crossing one over the other. “But you also didn’t see her bedroom. That’s the one room she has decorated.” He smiled, love for his sister evident in his eyes.

Chloe noticed the metal artwork on the walls, with splashes of teal to brighten up the masculine space. “I am so going to hire her when she’s feeling better.” Her house could use someone who knew how to put colors together.
“I’m sure she’d love to. You two will hit it off.”

Chloe sipped her wine. “Why do you say that?”

“Because she’s a lot like you.”

“In what way?”

“You’re both darn good at your jobs, committed in a way most people aren’t.” His stare held hers, intense and honest. “She’s sweet, funny, kind, and caring—just like you.”

Chloe took a sip of her wine as she considered his words. Sawyer knew how to dish out thoughtful compliments.

“Are you trying to flatter me?”

“If being honest is flattering you, then yes.”

The heat in his voice sent butterflies flitting around in her belly. The passionate look he gave her had her clenching her thighs. To neutralize the sudden rush of tingles within her, she placed her wineglass on the coffee table and reached for her phone. No calls. No texts. “Nothing from Shane yet.”

Sawyer chuckled. “In a hurry to get out of here?”

“Aren’t you?” She lifted her head, seeing the heat in his eyes. “We should be out finding Travis. I’m not very good at sitting around and waiting.”

His laugh turned a bit deeper, throatier. “Now that is something I can agree to.” He finished off his beer in one big gulp and rose. “I stayed at the hospital last night with Ash and left from there to go see you at the office. Would you mind if I had a shower?”

“Nope, go for it.” Chloe’s cheeks warmed.

Sawyer naked? Oh, Jesus!

A small smile graced his face as he grabbed the TV remote off the coffee table and clicked the TV on. He handed her the controller. “Feel free to watch anything you’d like. I’ll be quick.”

The burn of passion lingered in the air as he left the living room and headed up the staircase. She blew out a long breath, curled her legs underneath her, and began flicking through TV stations for something mindless. The moment she reached a soap opera she used to watch in her teens, Sawyer’s cellphone rang on the coffee table.
Leaning forward, she glanced at the screen. Captain. Since she heard the shower going, she ignored the call and continued to surf the channels. A short while later his phone rang again. This time the caller ID showed Dmitri. She remembered Porter mentioning a Dmitri before, but she’d never met him, or Aidan or Kyler, either, though she knew they also were Porter’s buddies.

When the ringing stopped, the call probably going to voicemail, Chloe leaned back into the couch. She’d just settled in to watch the show when the phone rang again, the caller ID now showing Mom. Worry formed in Chloe’s gut. Three people called in less than five minutes. Maybe something had happened with Ashlyn. Even better, perhaps they caught Travis.

She heard the water stop running through the pipes, indicating that Sawyer turned off the shower. Concerned about Ashlyn, she grabbed his phone and moved toward the staircase. “Sawyer?”

Not receiving a response, she began to climb the stairs. Once at the top, she discovered two bedrooms to the right and a master bedroom to the left, with a small loft area that held his computer. “Sawyer?”

“In here.” His voice carried from the master bedroom.

She walked along the hallway and went into the bedroom. Black bedroom furniture nestled against walls painted dark gray. A door on the left was slightly ajar, and she could see steam clouding the mirror of the en suite bathroom. She said to an empty room, “You got three phone calls in a short amount of time. I thought it might be important, so I—” The door beside the bathroom opened, and Chloe’s heart skipped a couple of beats.

Sawyer exited the walk-in closet wearing a pair of jeans, with a towel hanging around his shoulders. “Really?”

Chloe heard herself saying without even thinking about it. “You can’t be serious.”

He stopped dead, surprise flickering in his eyes. “What?”

“You come out looking like that?” She roamed every inch of his body. From his thick neck and strong shoulders to the valley of his abdominal muscles and even that sexy vee at his waist, he looked good half naked. Damn good.

“Is there something wrong with my body?”

The annoyance in his voice made her snap her head up. The irritation in his eyes matched what she’d heard in his voice. “You, Sawyer Quinn, do not play fair.”

Enjoyed it very much

The love story between Sawyer and Chloe was beautifully written! A BDSM Master of Club Sin and a PI drawn together! Well written and emotional! Loved it can't wait for the next installment in "Mine"! A must read!

I've enjoyed her other books but this one is poorly written, the plot is contrived, and she embramed several romance novel tropes I avoid. After reading the word "innocence" for about the 400th time I gave up and would have quit much earlier if I hadn't liked other books of hers.

This was so great. I loved Sawyer and Chloe together! I've been curious about Sawyer from the beginning and I loved getting to learn more about him. I loved seeing this other side of him outside of Club Sin. He was just so sweet and super sexy but he seemed to have a different vibe than the other guys which was refreshing. I liked Chloe as well and I loved her innocence in respect to the bdsm lifestyle and how she perceived things. The two of them had a wonderful relationship and I loved watching it grow. They had really good chemistry but I never felt a major pull between the two. This story brought about some big changes which was such a wonderful thing, even though I was sad one thing was ending I was happy the direction everything was going. I liked getting to see all the couples from previous stories and catch up with them. I really like seeing Porter protective side of Chloe as well. I was wondering what was up with Dmitri and Presley, their encounters seemed to provide bits of foreshadowing for the final book. I thought this was a really great, smooth read. It had a steady pace and flowed nicely. A good mix of sexy times and emotion as well as a solid story. It did have a different feel for me than the others stories, maybe because the majority it took place outside of Club Sin. I thought it was an excellent edition to the series. Complimentary copy received for honest review.

Par for the course another good read but with a twist as far as the "Club" goes.. my question is ... when is Dimetri going to make an honest woman of Presley, seemed maybe an intro was introduced in this book for the possibility OR who knows maybe even being far fetched a breakup w reconcillation? Just a thought.

What a great story! Sawyer was everything I wanted and he kept that through the whole book. Alpha, dirty talker, a heart full of love and a protector. Chloe was smart, alpha in her job but submissive in the bedroom even though it took Sawyer to show her that, very innocent but willing to make her man happy. I am glad Stacey Kennedy showed someone who would not fit in his Club Sin world and made it ok. She still liked a bit of kink but Sawyer wanted her all to himself. A great love story.

I like it but not as much as the rest of the Club Sin series. It felt rushed and lacked details. I'm a fan and recommend the series often. I hope the next book, Mine, brings back the spark that pulled me in before.

I agreed with a lot of the other reviews in that it didn’t seem up to par with the other books in the series, and it also seemed riddled with other overdone tropes. I just felt there was too much rambling. There were too many parts of the story that took a page or two to get through that could have been a paragraph. The transition to sex also seemed clunky and unnatural. I am a fan of this author, and it just seemed that maybe she rushed to get this story out, and maybe did not give it the TLC that she normally did.

These books just keep getting better and better. Just when I think I've read my favorite book in the series, Stacey writes another book that is my favorite. I LOVED THIS BOOK! So different from the other books in the Club Sin series. We' know Sawyer from all the other books but this is his story. He met Chole, a Private Investigator, in Tamed. Sawyer needs a PI and asks for Chloe when he goes to her place of work. Chloe is vanilla and despite off the charts sexual tension, Sawyer is so NOT vanilla. This was a read outside Club Sin and awesome! More, Stacey, More! ^I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Commanded really took a different look at the BDSM lifestyle and how it works with different relationships. Chloe is about as vanilla as they come, so Sawyer is a bit surprised when he finds himself attracted to her. He feels the need to claim her as his woman and teach her the ways of his world. But instead, he finds himself changing in subtle ways that surprise everyone around him Chloe is blown away by the total hotness that is Sawyer Quinn. But when she finds out he's in the BDSM lifestyle, she has some very serious reservations about pursuing a relationship with him. Things are a bit dicey between them for awhile as she becomes more and more convinced that she could never be what he really needed. This was something far different than what I had expected, but that ended up being a wonderful thing! A completely different look at the Masters of Club Sin that gives you such a good look at what it truly means to be with someone. *This book was received in exchange for an honest review*

Stacey Kennedy is an excellent writer!!

Steamy Emotional The author Stacey Kennedy does a stellar job in this story between Master Dom, Sawyer and vanilla as in not in the lifestyle, Chloe. Both of these characters are introduced in Tamed: Club Sin #5 were you could tell that there was some interesting heat between them. This book really adds a special twist to the traditional BDSM story line that will draw in all those women who are romantics. There are plenty of amazing scenes between these two but the ending is so impactful on how Sawyer makes a major decision that will change his life/lifestyle as he has known it for the last 4-5 years to be with a women who has won his heart. This is a man that will warm your heart and make you melt. Chloe is someone I can really relate to. I admire her work ethic and personal strength. She shoots from the hip and is totally honest with life. She is a prime example of a person being honest about a situation and being strong enough to do something about it. Once again the author has written a steamy emotional book where the readers will love the ending. I give this book 5 STARS. I was given this ARC for an honest opinion by Netgalley. I receive a copy of this book, from the publisher, in exchange for an honest review. In no way did this sway either my review or my rating! I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each one of the Masters of Club Sin. I've loved the mix of lightness and intensity that each of their books has brought. There were things that worked well for me and a few things that didn't, but all in all I think Sawyer's story was the perfect way to close out all the new stories from the Club Sin series. Each of the Masters has had their own pull, their own little something that has drawn me to want to read each one of their books very badly. With Dmitri he was my first foray into the world of BDSM, he brought something new and exciting to my very skeptical mind. With Aidan, he seemed very serious and controlled, all business, yet I could see the passion and heart ready to break free. And then there's Kyler. Sigh, oh Kyler. Even now, after all this time, I am still totally into this guy. I knew before I even read his book that he was going to be my guy. It was his playful and teasing nature that drew me to him. I think Porter would be a very close second to being my favorite from this series. Anyone who can tame Kenzie was someone I wanted to get to know better, plus his close relationship with Cora, from book two, and the way he looked out for her after all this time was heartwarming. And then there was Sawyer. Sawyer was still almost a mystery to me from the beginning of this book and that was his draw. He's been around in the first five books of course but not enough to get a real good grasp on his personality and what was going on in his head. I have really loved getting to know his character. He's fiercely loyal and protective, plus, like Kyler, he's a cop so...hello sexy man in uniform! The storyline with his sister's abusive boyfriend kind put a different light on this book. It showed a more human side of Sawyer. Instead of this powerful, controlled Dom you really get to see the guy behind the Dom. Chloe, well, I feel like I did like her character in the very beginning and even before that from the previous book. But she became a bit of an annoyance for me. She did stupid things and put herself in bad places or situations all in the name of trying to understand Sawyer better. Instead of just talking to him and asking him the questions she talked to everyone but him. It was just frustrating and I guess sometimes I felt like she wasn't the right girl for him because of this. Even though I had those few moments where I questioned things, still there was a sweetness to Sawyer and Chloe's relationship. I liked how her character stayed true to herself and within her limits and comfort zone. I guess the thing I'd most like to stress about this series as a whole is that if you've never read a BDSM novel before but are curious, these books are the perfect starting point for indulging in that curiosity. I'd say it's like a spiced up erotica, it's very light and not at all cringe worthy. The men are very alpha and the women are submissive...with spunk. They've all be a lot of fun to read and this one was no different. A huge thanks to Loveswept, Random House for the opportunity to read and review this book!

Sensual, steamy and passionate story with an intense and fierce undertone. The characters are charming and highly likeable, they have great chemistry, a palpable connection with each other. Sawyer is loyal, honest, caring, and highly protective. Chloe is tough, smart, and somehow has been able to hold onto a certain innocence. They both have felt the need for a change, some new variation in their lives. While working together to find the man who violently violated Sawyer's sister, they explore the attraction between them. The heat level is high, several explicit love scenes in the story, as expected, where the BDSM lifestyle is toured in a sensual, and soft way, where Sawyer makes Chloe feel desired, precious, and cherished. I liked the honesty in their relationship, they were open with their needs, wants, and desires from each other, from the start. The communication with each other was refreshing. The suspense side of the story gave danger, fear, and desperation to the tale, and helped both Sawyer and Chloe's feelings to get into the deeper level faster. The relationship takes a surprising, yet understandable, twist at the end. I liked how understanding and supporting the Masters brotherhood were with each other. Fervid and ardent story, with tense feelings of passion, desire, and danger, mixed with sweet and delicate romance. ~ Four Spoons

The story was rushed and short. Characters were shallow and underdeveloped, and seemed to be written in the same style as so many other books....... good girl, experienced Dom, tragedy strikes and she embraces BDSM and lives happily ever after. BORING!!!

Solid 4 Stars...another great addition to this series Honestly I have lost count as to what book this is in the series as I have read everyone, except the first, and I have really enjoyed all of them, minus one. This time around we get in to the life of Sawyer, another Club Sin Master and Chloe, the PI we met in the last book who works with Porter. The two seemed to have an attraction when they met in the last book, and this book obviously builds on that. Chloe has been asked by Sawyer to help find the man who beat up his sister and Chloe is eager to help. As she just came out of a long term relationship she is hesitant to hop right into bed with Sawyer but being the man he is, he doesn't take long till he gets Chloe under his command and into his bed. You heard me, into his bed, not into a scene at the club. Chloe is not part of the BDSM lifestyle, and though curious, she isn't sure she can become that person. Sawyer is happy to know that despite her conflict, there is no doubt she is a submissive in bed. I loved that the majority of this book takes place outside of Club Sin and more so I loved the decision that Sawyer makes along the way. For those really into the BDSM aspects of this series, you may be disappointed as very little of that takes place in this book. For me, I loved that a new angle was taken by Kennedy in exploring the hero/heroine relationship. Readers will be happy to have all the former masters and their women throughout the story and like the others there is a little suspense/action taking place in the story. This story did wrap up a little too quickly for me and the Epilogue was nice, but I would have loved more. Overall I feel this was a great addition to the series, and there is still more to come.
