About the Author

Margaret Bouchard is a Missouri-based educator whose specialty is Multicultural Education and English Language Development. She has served as a member of the Oakland County Bilingual Directors Board, an ESL Teacher/Coordinator for the Lamphere School District, and an instructor at the Applied Language Institution, University of Missouri, Kansas City. She has developed and presented numerous workshops in reading, Multicultural Education, and English Language Development. In addition to her work in education, Margaret serves as a commissioner on the Human Rights Commision in Kansas City. She is also the author of ESL Smart! (Pearson/Longman Education, 2000).
