About the Author

Edward L. Culbertson, Ph.D. was instrumental in developing one of the first Computer Applications in Real Estate courses in California. In addition to being a licensed Educational Psychologist, he has been a licensed Real Estate Broker since 1980 and holds an advanced degree in Management and a Ph.D. in Human Behavior. Dr. Culbertson was Professor of Real Estate at MiraCosta College in Oceanside, California.

Brock Schermerhorn, J.D. & Martin Welc, M.B.A. in Real Estate, were instrumental in providing updates to this text almost fifteen years after it was written. They currently serve as Co-Department chairs of the Saddleback College Real Estate Department, which has been one of the leading Real Estate programs in the California Community College system thanks to their efforts in developing a robust online program.
