About the Author

Ron Sanders is a 23 year decorated, retired veteran, Detroit Police Department Homicide Detective Sergeant. He retired two years short of his 25th anniversary, due to a duty-disability stroke. During his 23 year career as a Detroit Police Officer, he worked several sections within the Detroit Police Department. Those sections included, Uniformed Precinct Patrol, City-wide Plainclothes Enforcement, Special Detail, with the Michigan State Attorney General's Office and Wayne County Task Force, Detroit Police, Internal Affairs Section, Uniformed Patrol Supervision, and the Homicide Section. While in his police career, Ron experienced at least fifteen (15) near-death experiences. He calls hem Miracles and shares them throughout this book.

Ron currently lives in a NW suburb of Detroit. He is married and has 3 adult children and 8 grandchildren. Although The stroke has left him with an intelligible speech problem and the use of a walker (for balance), there is no other paralysis. He is able to do his own grocery shopping, banking, and has completed the process of driver's training. Ron enjoys spending time with his supportive family and belonging to a fantastic church, with a very dynamic teaching pastor.
