In the three years since the first publication of this book, there has been an opportunity for greater reflection and personal growth.

Rather than give power to the abuse that occurred in my childhood by documenting it here as I did in the first edition,
I would like to simply state “to forgive is to move forward consciously and continuously.”

As we walk our path of healing from whatever traumas are experienced, please find a support system and know you are not alone. Know there are many resources available to assist in your growth to peace within. You are worthy. You are loved.

I am grateful to have the ability to create relatable art that gives thought to the emotional aspects of the human experience.
