Emile C Tepperman (1899 to 1951) was a prolific Pulp Writer and wrote for many of the great Pulp Heroes including The Spider, Secret Agent X, The Avenger, The Phantom Detective and others.

His own creations included Marty Quade, Ed Race and The Suicide Squad.

Tepperman wrote at least 263 published stories between 1933 and 1944.
