CONTINUITY: A Book of Poems
C. N. Cantelon is not, as one publisher reported, a female Buddhist guru, living on top of a Tibetan mountain. In fact, C. N. Cantelon is a man in his mid-sixties, living on the outskirts of Seattle, and caring for his 93-year-old mother-in-law and 3-year-old grandson. He has been writing since the 1960’s, primarily poetry and short prose. C. N. stands for Charles Norton, but he often uses the nom de plume, T. C. Worthe, which name was first used on poems and quips posted on the student message board at Lewis and Clark College, in the late sixties. Charles took creative writing classes at Lewis and Clark from William Stafford, Vern Rutsala and James Liddy, among others. His poems have been published, over the years, in many magazines and anthologies, but this is the first book of his collected poems. Hopefully, more will follow, both prose and poetry.
