Cosmo "Gus" Frasca Genovese Family Capo

Cosmo "Gus" Frasca rose to become a Genovese crime family caporegime. By the mid-1930s he was in trouble for assault and robbery during a Manhattan jewelry stickup. At the time Frasca and his father were operating a service station. Arraigned in Tombs Court, Cosmo served time in prison in the 1930s. Frasca is considered a likely shooter in the gangland murder of mobster Ferdinand "the Shadow" Boccia on September 19, 1934. Frasca and an accomplice supposedly dumped Boccia's body in the Hudson River where it bobbed up and down for three years.
