About the Author

Daisy “DJ” Garza is currently a third-year PhD luminary student at Our Lady of the Lake University–Rio Grande Valley (OLLU–RGV). She has completed thirty-two years in the elementary education profession. DJ’s dream is to become a professor with Our Lady of the Lake (OLLU) in the very near future. DJ has recently published and illustrated two other children’s bilingual books: “Country Toad and City Frog” and “Nutrition Counts.”
