Couples who wrote Greece's history
How much does the personal life of the protagonists in history affect the political activity, but also, vice versa, how does the public exhibit affect their house's results? This investigates the book you hold in your hands. Because it is difficult to understand the decisions of a public person without knowing his unjustified needs, his injuries. If you don't know what Ellie Pappa the Beloyannis meant, how to justify her decision to give birth to his child, even though married to another, imprisoned and dying? How to interpret Andreas Papandreou's disintegrating attitude towards the Center Union if you don't know the abyss that separated him from his father? And Paul why did he let Friedrich become king? And I chose to talk about couples because in love and in symbiosis, we are all exposed and naked, whole. Of course, I was always listening to the antithesis in my ears: How to guess the dynamics of a couple, how to summarize their light and darkness? But doubt did not stop me, but it only nourished the charm of the research. I would dive headfirst into their lives and literally loved them, trying to see through their eyes. I didn't want to just go through their drawers, I wanted to understand the limitations that society imposed on them at the time, to put flesh and blood on the paper figures of the front pages. I chose the most influential couples, the most intense to cover the history of Greece from 1821 to the junta. Men from time to time are protagonists, but women of their lives are also important, burning faces. I hope you'll enjoy as much as I enjoyed that acrobatic experience between history and literature.
