This story was not bad. It made me smile. Although, the premise is ridiculous, it has a bit of humor. The end wrapped it up nicely. At only a few pages long, it was the right length and right pace for a short story of this nature. I almost passed it up because of the title. I do not normally find crank calls funny. But, "Crank Call" is one of the better shorts by this author. If you have three minutes, then you should check it out. And, it is free. -AvidReader
