## ANOTHER frustrating Moretti book. I hated Anthony's story and promised myself I wouldn't buy any others in the series. However, I bought this one by mistake, unaware that it was one of them. Ugh. Boy do I wish I could undo that. Another six bucks down the drain. Yes, this book is SLIGHTLY better than the last one, but not by much. Again, the "hero" is a complete jerk. How Jill fell for him, I'll never know. She should've chosen Tom instead. Now THERE'S a hero. I don't understand why the author can't at least give these guys SOME redeeming qualities. Frustrating beyond belief.

AudioBook Review: Stars: Overall: 4 Narration: 4 Story: 4 The first I’ve read in this Lauren Layne trilogy of NYPD officers and the women who handcuff their hearts, Cuff Me brought us Vincent (Vin) the middle child of the Moretti brothers. In larger families (I’m an only – so I saw this from a bit of outside perspective) middle kids are often the ones who take a backseat to the often outgoing and boisterous or ‘darling’ first and last children, and Vin’s quieter and more reserved side was taken as grumpy and guarded. He’s not though, perhaps a bit more serious than he needs be, but at his core is a solid, strong and very giving man. Jill is Vin’s partner, and while their personalities work very well in tandem, they are opposites: she’s more bubbly and open in her personal interactions. Now, there is chemistry between them, but there has been a sort of ‘sweep under the carpet’ attitude because of their work relationship. UNTIL Vin sees Jill may have feelings for someone else! Apparently the grass is always greener in Vin’s world – and seeing Jill interested in someone else is just enough to bring up the worst thing ever – emotions. Vin, like many men, isn’t well-versed in his own emotional capacity, and while he’s everything you could want in a man: honest, caring, family oriented, protective and sexy as sin, he’s got some fears to face. Jill, on the other hand, has to KNOW he wants her, and she does give him quite a run for his money. Perhaps I wished Jill realized sooner that nothing is ever guaranteed, and Vin was really what she wanted more than anything, so her prolonged engagement lasted a bit too long for me. Narration for this story was provided by Avalon Kingsbury, and she did a wonderful job. Her voice was perfectly suited to the character of Jill, and kept the story available emotionally. Kingsbury didn’t overwork any of the moments for dramatic impact, yet she didn’t hesitate to modulate her tone and delivery to express obvious moments of frustration, humor, tenderness or confusion. While the story had me engaged and interested and I didn’t feel as if there were any major moments missing, I do think that readers would benefit from taking this book in series order: particularly because of the obvious long-standing relationships. I’ve added the earlier titles to my ever-growing TBR pile… I received an AudioBook copy of the title from Hachette Audio for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

So we are back with my new favorite cop family; The Moretti's! And I'm super excited to jump back in all the craziness! Especially with Nonna. Detective Vincent Moretti is the surliest member of the Moretti family. When most of his communications tend to be through scowls and grunting it is honestly amazing that anyone out side of the family can put up with him. But his partner of 6 years Jill Henley, is the one person that was always by his side…mainly because she is the only one that can put up with him. But Vin is not as gruff as he comes across, he is shy and doesn't know how to express his feelings, but after missing Jill for the past 3 months, while she has been in Florida taking care of her mother, Vin has finally decided to take a step towards expressing his tightly kept feeling by asking Jill on a date. But when Jill comes home engaged to another man, Vin feels confused by his own hurt emotions. Despite what is going on in their personal lives, Vin and Jill have a murder to solve, but will Vin be able to get through the case and Jill's engagement and not reveal how he feels? I am going to start by saying …I really loved this book! I love the family, the characters! The plot! Simply everything about this book is delicious. I loved Vin's character so much! His shyness makes him just so endearing to me. I struggled a little with Jill's character a couple of moments in the book, but I did love the way the author made the characters realize their flaws; without that I honestly don't this that this book or this series should be as amazing as it is! I only have one retreat with this whole series, that I didn't discover this series till book 2! But I'm thrilled I found it and I honestly can't wait for the next book in the series. So let's get the the basics of this book, the writing, plot and characters are fantastic and as far as I can see it is without plot holes and smooth to read. I give Cuff Me 5 stars!

I LOVE Lauren Layne stories. I have read every book she has ever wrote and I love them all. She is definitely on my autobuy list and this book which can stand alone is third in the series. We have seen glances of Vince and Jill in the first two books and now it was their turn and I was so excited to check them out. This book was a lot of fun because the author really tortures Vince and it totally works. Vince is a very grumpy, antisocial and quiet character. He is a cop and it totally worked for him. He and Jill have been partners for 6 years and she has quietly lusted for him and he has been totally clueless. That all changes when she goes to visit her mom for 3 months. During that time Vince never calls, never writes, never texts and so she meets this great guy who on her last night in town proposes and she accepts. Vince has missed her so much, so much that he couldn’t call or text or email and he realises he wants more with her. Talk about bad timing. And that’s where the author had fun with torturing Vince. For the first 50% of the book Jill and Tom are engaged and he is a really great guy. She never cheats while she is engaged and I really liked seeing her and Vince’s integrity while in a difficult situation. There is a big mystery in this story and whodunit and it was a really good one. I never saw who was killer until the end. I loved how Vince came and saved the day. This book is a fast read and was a lot of fun. Vince and Jill are a very cute couple together and I loved seeing the whole Moretti family and how they interact with Jill and Vince. I am looking forward to Book 4.

Truly an enjoyable book to read! In a way it reminded me of the series “Blue Bloods” on television --- I think there were 5 maybe 6 kids in this family, with the father being ex-commissioner, 3 working in New York as cops, daughter in NY being a district lawyer – and one a cop in CA! A close loving family with the addition of a mother and grandmother all alive! The story was about the one older one, not married and his partner trying to solve a murder with no visible clues – and her going off to FL to care for one of her parents coming back engaged to another guy – where the whole family thought that she would marry into their family – then she ends up hospitalized trying to nab the killer – with a happy ending! Look forward to finding the rest of this series – and yet can well be read as a read-alone!

I have always enjoyed Lauren Layne’s writing style, but she continues to exceed my expectations. Her writing is maturing, as are her story arcs and character development. CUFF ME is is the third and final installment of Lauren Layne’s “New York’s Finest” series. We follow the relationship between Vincent and his long-term partner, Jill. Jill returns from a 3 month sabbatical with some major news, which changes their relationship forever. This story had my heart in a vice from page one. Having an already established friendship between the main characters allowed for a level of reality atypical of the romance genre. Their chemistry was fantastic and the build up of tension was explosive. CUFF ME is some of Layne’s best work yet. Keep ‘em coming, girl!

I absolutely loved this one! It was funny, intriguing and heart warming. Your heart went out to Vincent and you felt so bad for him. For me, this was the best one in the series. Lauren Layne hit it out of the park! I almost want to go back and read it again!

One of the things that I love so much about the blogging world is the fact that I find all of these new authors thanks to blogger recommendations. I've had this author on my radar now thanks to a blogging friend who I trust when it comes to romance recommendations (thanks Lisa!) so I jumped at the opportunity to read this one. Verdict on this author and book? I loved her voice, enjoyed this book, and am left really excited to read more of the books in this series! All very good things if I do say so myself! This was one of those books that I found myself unable to put down which meant that I read it in a matter of days. The chemistry and tension between the two main characters was so good and it just meant that I couldn't stop reading. What is funny about this book (and my reading experience) is that this is the second romance I've read this year where one of the main characters in a serious relationship with someone else. I totally would have said before now that I wouldn't have enjoyed this kind of story line but both of these authors have managed to make it work. And actually work quite well despite my misgivings early on. I found myself eagerly reading trying to figure out how Vin and Jill were going to find their happy ever after when there were so many complications in front of them. I loved every minute of it! I also really enjoyed that with this book there was also a mystery story line present. Vincent and Jill are both detectives and also partners that were investigating the death of a famous actress. The question of who killed the famous leading lady gave this book a layer of suspense that I wasn't actually expecting. Basically I was reading for two different things. One, for Vincent to finally realize that Jill was the best thing that ever happened to them so they could fall in love. Two, I was reading to see who the killer was and how these two were going to figure it all out. As I'm a mystery lover as well, this book basically was hitting all of my sweet spots which is one of the reasons why I just couldn't stop reading. I loved the ending of this book so much although I won't say more than that. I finished this book with a smile on my face and was left very excited to the other books in this series. I have to see what I've missed with these other brothers and how they fell in love!! Overall, I really enjoyed this book and am thrilled that I had the chance to read it! I found myself reading this one during ALL of my free time and even when I shouldn't have been reading (like when I was supposed to be helping the oldest child with math). The chemistry between the two main characters was exactly how I like it to be with my romance reads: steamy and hot but also filled with obstacles that need to be overcome. I am a sucker for a book where the main characters have to fight to be together in some way rather than the insta-love that sometimes happens. This is easily a book that I would recommend to other romance readers! Recommended! Bottom Line: A book that I found myself swept away in! Disclosure: I received a copy of this book thanks to the publisher and NetGalley as part of a Tasty Book Tour.

Cuff Me is a great, slow burn, friends to lovers story. Layne adeptly intertwines a murder investigation with the romance, adding depth and creativity to the story. There are a few times along the way that I thought a well-loved trope would be employed (stranded in a snowstorm!) but each time Layne kept the story fresh and interesting. There are elements of Beauty and the Beast at its core, but they are subtle allowing the characters to shine through on their own. This is the first book I’ve read in this series but definitely won’t be the last. The Moretti clan is one of my favorite book families in a while. I definitely want to see more of them. I have been looking forward to Vincent Moretti's story since I heard about this series. You could almost feel the tension between him and Jill coming off of the pages in the other books, and this did not disappoint. My Thoughts I knew that Vincent's path to happiness wasn't going to be easy and that it involved Jill. He is such a taciturn guy that you could tell that when he fell he was gonna fall hard, but seeing him struggle with how he handled the feeling was the best part of this book. The chemistry and banter between Jill and Vin from the other books made me fall pretty hard for them before I even started this book and I'll admit I was a huge shipper for them and rooting for their HEA together pretty hard. I was a little thrown when the book started with Jill getting engaged to another guy, but it was the catalyst that Vin needed to make him see what was right in front of his face. This story had all of the feels. It was swoony, funny, charming, touching, sweet, sexy, and heartwarming. Vincent Moretti is one of those characters that capture your heart right away and that is what makes this books so good. I highly recommend this book if you like your cops strong and silent, with a sweet, swoony side and fierce loyalty to those he cares about. Pick up this series you will not be disappointed.

It seems that everyone but Vincent and Jill knew that they were more than just partners. While Jill has had feeling for Vin for some time, she also wants the happily ever after with someone who loves her. When that Tom comes along and offers to give her that when she is out on leave caring for her mom, she jumps at the chance. Vin didn't realize how much he would miss Jill, but when she comes back engaged, his world is turned upside down. I loved all the little things he does for Jill that show he cares for her as more than just a partner, all while still maintaining his gruff personality. All these things have Jill confused as to what his true motivation is. Does he really want her or does he just not want to lose her as a partner. They both have some personal demons to work through all while planning a wedding, having doubts about said wedding and trying to solve a murder case with no clues. There is tons of sexual tension between them for most of the book and when they finally come together it is HOT! I've loved this series so far - can't wait for the next book! 4.5 stars I received an ARC for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.

I really liked the second book in this series and I could not wait to get to know another member of the Moretti family. I loved this family, they are some really nice nosy. They can't see make mistakes the others and shut up, parents should intervene. Jill and Vincent are a perfect and well-matched couple: she is the good cop, friendly, funny, he is the bad one, grumpy, who never smiles. Jill has always been in love with Vincent but he has never noticed her. She had to take care of her mother and was three months away. She returns happily engaged. The problem is that she still loves Vincent. Is not the case to give up and find someone that really love her? The three months away have made it clear to Vincent what really feels for her? Jill is a charming and smiling policewoman, the person that knows Vincent better than anyone after spending six years at his side. Vincent is a great cop but has a really tough character and above all is very shy, can't make it clear to Jill his true feelings. This is the third book in the series, each one may be enjoyed as a stand alone novel but for more enjoyment read the whole series This story is really well written and the dialogue is really brilliant and witty. I find there to be great dialogue, lots of chemistry, plenty of humor and some sweet romance. If you are looking for a cute and funny book then you need to read this one. I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book! It was definitely my favorite in the series so far. There is just something about Vincent and Jill that just makes my heart melt a little bit. They were meant to be with each other but they have to figure out how to make that happen. While this book is the third installment in the New York's Finest series, it can easily be read as a stand alone. Vincent and Jill have appeared in the earlier books in the series but I didn't really feel like I knew them until spending time with them in this book. The characters in this story were amazing. Seeing the characters from the previous books was great but I just loved everything about Jill and Vincent. They are both detectives in the New York Police Department and have been paired up for the past six years. Jill considers herself to be an adopted member of the Morelli clan and the pair have a great working relationship and easy friendship. Jill just felt so alive in this story. She had a lot to give and had decided to try to find some happiness by getting engaged. Her fiance, Tom, is a genuinely good guy but their relationship lacks some of the magic she is looking for. Vincent is incredibly guarded. He has never had a serious relationship and doesn't take chances with his heart. When he finds out that Jill is engaged, he realizes exactly what she means to him. Watching him learn how to open up to Jill was heartbreaking at times because I could really feel how hard everything was for him. I was so glad that Jill was as patient and kind as she was with him and they really proved to be a wonderful couple with a whole lot of chemistry. The case that Vincent and Jill were working on was incredibly interesting as well. An elderly actress falls to her death and there are no leads. It was nice to watch the pair work together because it was almost magical how well they complemented each other. I thought it was fitting that the case they were working on caused them a lot of difficulty to match the turmoil in their personal lives. The eventual resolution of the case was very well done. I would highly recommend this book to fans of contemporary romance. I am a huge fan of Lauren Layne's writing and this book is an excellent example of her writing. I plan to continue reading Lauren Layne's work and have my fingers crossed that we will see more of the Morelli's soon. I received an advance reader edition of this book from Forever - Grand Central Publishing via NetGalley for the purpose of providing an honest review.

Ms. Layne's books should come with a warning label: Don't start unless you're ready to finish in one sitting! When I got my copy, I decided to browse the first chapter only to find myself halfway through when I finally looked up and quite unhappy to step away for any reason. I simply adore friends-to-lovers stories especially where there is a long history of friendship like in this case, because the couple knows each other inside and out already and it adds another layer to the relationship without much emotional angst and drama. Usually that would be the case, but for Jill and Vin it was an angst-filled trip to their happy ending only lightened by the intervention of their loved ones. While Luc is the charming brother and Anthony is the serious brother, Vincent Moretti gets the distinction of being the clueless brother. Clueless about his feelings for his partner as well as hers for him and just plain out of touch with his softer side. Until he gets a wakeup call and finds himself in danger of losing the woman he didn't even know he loved and wanted unless he can convince her to take a chance on him. Thankfully he has a nosy and interfering family to help him get his girl, but not without some humorous moments and some tough love. Jill Henley has been in love with Vincent for as long as they've been partners and is pretty much a member of his family, but she's tired of waiting for him to realize that they have more than friendship between them and has decided to move on from the best thing that isn't happening to something good. I have to say that Ms. Layne takes a lot of risks with her writing that actually turn out quite well. This story had the potential to be very messy and heartbreaking for everyone involved but the noisy and opinionated Moretti family helped to make it a very entertaining one, especially Nonna and her lack of a filter. One thing I enjoy about this book is that Vin was just a regular guy who just never connected with his feelings, instead of the usual damaged hero with a story. I like that Jill was his complete opposite in temperament and outlook and that this dynamic worked for them both professionally and personally. CUFF ME is emotional, entertaining and very sexy, something we've come to expect from Ms. Layne and I hope that the last two Morettis standing get their happy endings too. Disclaimer: I received this book for free from the Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Lauren Layne had delivered again with no doubt that she got the goods . . . New York's Finest can Frisk Me, Steal Me, and Cuff Me any time. These men are more than just New York's Finest. They have something that will get every woman to want to be frisked, stolen, and cuffed all just for good measure. I will be adding the two from this series that I missed to my list of reads to get on top of ASAP. I am currently putting out an APBf (all points book find) for the missing books from my collection. Vincent has everything he could ever want, need, or desire in a partner for life. Its not until that partner may be lost to him that the light from the overhead become brighter. along with some head pounding from his boisterous family and one brother to another speech. Jill has known for a while that she has loved her partner in all things but the one that counts. She has begun to feel that things will never happen. Giving up and letting go seems to be the right thing to do. Or was it just the right buttons to push. Over the top loving between family, partners, and the job makes this a fun filled, steamy, read with moments to bring you back for more just to have that additional peak (yes, this the right peak for my meaning). Lauren Layne had delivered again with no doubt that she got the goods to make the read memorable in many ways. All will bring you back. **This ARC was provided via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

I just adore LL's writing. She just doesn't write about one thing...she changes it up and expands her repertoire. What makes the New York's Finest a little different from her other books is the slow burning romance. All the tension build up and emotions wrapped up in a twist are my favorite parts in any story. Of course the sexy times are a plus, but the parts leading towards it are always the best. :) Vincent Moretti and Jill Henley have been together for six detectives for the NYPD. Six years, they have managed to solve every crime, leaving behind a stellar record. But when one case leaves them perplexed, tensions rise to find the killer of a beloved icon. And the new detail in Jill's life does not make things any better. For six years, Jill was done waiting for Vin to make a move. He doesn't realize that Jill may be half in love with him all that time. But, when she comes back from a three month break with a new man in her life, Vin can't help but feel the jealousy rising. And the new ring on her finger doesn't help much either. Can Vin truly be happy for her? The possibility of losing his best friend and partner in crime will surely change things up a bit. Thoughts: PLOT LINE - Who doesn't love a mystery? Especially when it involves a famous icon and the perfect murder. With the pent up frustration of missing pieces in the case and the addition of a brewing magnetism between the partners, LL knows how to intertwine the two perfectly. The job may get in the way of their personal lives but somehow it will all work out. CHEMISTRY - There is no way you can deny the attraction they have. It may take longer for Vin to realize it but it's been lingering there. The best part of something lingering is how it will emerge and grow into something more. Vin and Jill have a dynamic that makes them unbeatable. As partners, Vin is the bad cop and analyzes cases on intuition and gut feeling. Jill's the good cop and analyzes cases on facts and figure. There is a great balance, plain and simple. As friends, they have seen each other at their worst. Every detail is left unturned. All the tension built up all those years will find a way of getting out. Where everything just explodes. There is one particular scene that I absolutely love and I can't wait for you guys to get there. And especially with Vin's brooding and reserved nature...he has this Darcy effect. Once feelings are made known, it's pretty amazing. MORETTI FAMILY - This family is what makes the series. I love each and every one of them because they all bring something to the story. Their sunday brunches and including Jill like she is already one of their own is so adorable and fitting. And let's not forget the other Moretti men in the family...if you haven't read Frisk Me or Steal Me, you are missing out. Anthony Moretti is my favorite of the bunch and his part in knocking some sense into both Vin and Jill is the best. Although all the Moretti members have very different personalities, there a couple similarities. Men usually don't have heart to heart conversations with each other but when they's so sweet. Always looking out for each other. What are families for? I swear if you love the show Blue Bloods, you will love this series. I'm sad to see the series end but we're all secretly hoping for a surprise release of another book. *Fingers-crossed*

4.5 stars Another great read by Lauren Layne, loved Cuff Me. Loved Vincent & Jill. They were entertaining, funny, stubborn, frustrating, loveable and their chemistry was smoking! Totally enjoyed watching Vincent and Jill fall in love, shame it took them so long to see what we all could clearly see, these two were perfect partners, in work & in life. What I also loved about Cuff Me was the relationship between the Moretti siblings. While they are each other's biggest supporter, none of them are shy to let each other know exactly what they think & feel. Loved their honesty and how encouraging they were, especially loved how they would talk around Vincent as if he wasn't in the room... In ending if you're looking for an entertaining storyline with fabulous, lovable characters that will have you turning the pages you will love Cuff Me. The New York's Finest series has been a great read, each book can be read as a standalone. I highly recommend this book & series.

This is the third story in the New York's Finest series and is my favourite to date, featuring Vincent and his partner Jill. They've worked together for 6 years, but when Jill returns after a 3 month absence, newly engaged to another man, it's a wake up call to Vincent that he may have missed his chance at love. He wants Jill to be happy, even if it isn't with him, but senses that she's not as happy about the situation as she lets on. While Vincent and Jill are dealing with their own issues, they are also mired in a murder mystery featuring an aged movie star whose death is not an accident. Their own issues appear as murky as the case does. This is a slow burn romance - no jumping into bed at the start, as Jill must first decide whether getting married to someone else is what she really wants. Obviously there is an eventual happy ending for Vincent and Jill (and some sexy scenes between them once the fiance is no longer in the picture, so no cheating in the story). I really loved how the whole thing played out (including the murder mystery), and it was a treat to see the Moretti family in highly entertaining form. 5 stars, and a top read for me for 2016.

This is book # 3 in the New York's Finest series. This is a book that can be read as a standalone novel. To enjoy fully and understand all the inside jokes from the characters involved, I recommend reading in the order intended. Vincent and Jill have been partners for six years. They know each other well. They have an excellent record as detectives also. They are basically best friends. Jill has been in love with Vin for a while, and finds that he will never change so she must move on. She comes back from assisting her mother in Florida with future plans that rock Vincent's world. Vin has known he has had feelings for Jill for a while. When she left for 3 months, it made him notice even more the hole that was left in her absence. He plans to change all that with her return. Seriously hot and soul wrenching! I eagerly read the words on the page and did not want the book to end. I found the characters development and pace to be spot on. I enjoyed this book! ***This ARC was given by and its publisher for an honest review only.

Vincent Moretti, a tough, grouchy, donut-eating police detective, is also adorable. For six years, he has worked side by side with fellow detective Jill Henley, his opposite in most things, but also a perfect fit. Jill, his partner, is a perky and positive young woman ready for a change in her life. During her three-month leave to Florida (caring for her sick mother), she meets and becomes engaged to a rich man who appears to be flawless. On the day of her return to work, the detectives inherit a homicide case that appears to be one which might stump their perfect record. When Vincent sees the ring on her finger, he realizes the enormity of his mistake in not pursuing his partner. Sparks fly. I love the story line. There was enough mystery to keep you guessing, enough romance to keep you interested, and enough real life involved to keep you turning the pages. Supporting characters were also well developed and put you right in the action. Tension throughout the book was great. I would give this book four stars.

I look forward to each and every Lauren Layne book. Cuff Me, is her latest in the New York's Finest series, and I really enjoyed it. This series is centered around the Moretti family, a caring group of people involved in some aspect of law enforcement. Vince Moretti is a gruff, NYC detective with an impeccable record. To date, he has always found the criminal, due to his skills and unique spidey sense. For the past six years, Jill Henley has been his partner and she has a way of balancing out Vince's gruffness. Her research always ties the clues together. You could say that Jill is the yang to Vince's yin. Overtime, Jill has become an honorary member of the Moretti family, and both she and Vince have feelings for each other that go way beyond the working partner camaraderie. Solving crimes typically comes easily for them, however finding the killer of a once famous actress has left them a little dumbfounded. Once they work through an untimely engagement, a lack of communication, a near death experience and solve the case, they are able to freely admit their love for each other. I really enjoyed this story, even though it took a really long time for Vince and Jill to get together romantically. Both Vince and Jill are likable characters, and their personalities completely compliment each other. They are quite interesting, and I immediately connected to them both as individuals and as a couple. Their sexy times are hot, and Vince is an alpha both in and out of the bedroom. Vince's grandmother is a hoot, especially when she is talking about her bodily fluids. Overall, this is a solid romance that should not be missed. Complimentary copy provided by the publisher via NetGalley.

It’s official: grumpy detective Vincent Moretti is my new favorite Moretti, and let me tell you this has come as a shock to me. What a ride! This book has it all: romantic moments, tension, mystery, edge of your seat moments, steamy scenes (yeah, maybe a little too much for my liking, but anyway) and romantic moments I never thought I’d witness grumpy Vincent Moretti create. He’s a grouch with a soft side well hidden underneath his armor, but his attempts at romanticism made me smile and warmed my heart. He was adorable when he went out of his comfort zone to make Jill happy. I wasn't particularly happy about the way they started out their relationship, and I would've enjoyed the story even without the descriptive sex scenes (you'll find out the reason for the title at one specific point in their relationship), but that's just my prudish self talking. I liked meeting the rest of the Moretti again (especially Nonna), and seeing how they all came together to help Vin with his heartbreak. I was also happy to meet Marco, the only brother who’s not in New York, and who didn’t appear in the previous books, and I’m looking forward to reading his story, too. I would've liked a little bit more of the two of them together, once the Morettis found out, maybe get an epilogue. When I reached the end I was a little disappointed to realize I wasn't going to get a few more chapters. If you’re a fan of Lauren Layne, it goes without saying you’ll love this book, too. If you’ve yet to discover her books, this might be a good one to start, as the author’s trademark witty, fast-paced style with lots of funny banter and steamy scenes can be found in this book, too. ***I received a complimentary NetGalley copy in exchange for an honest review***

I absolutely LOVED this book! It is my favorite of the series and one of the best reads of 2016! Vin and Jill have been partners for six years. I love how they have a history and that they’re best friends. I totally love that the couple had a strong history, it made them falling in love all the more special. Vin is a tough guy and it’s hard to express his feelings, especially those for Jill. Fortunately, Vin has a loud-mouthed, very opinionated and nosey Italian family that butts in to give advice, on both sides. I love, love LOVE the tight-knit Moretti clan. It’s always wonderful to catch up with the couples from previous books. Elena, the sole Moretti sister got more page time and we finally get to meet Marco, the brother/police sergeant who moved to California with his girlfriend. Marco is just as devastatingly handsome as his other brothers, but his girlfriend leaves a lot to be desired… (I hope she’s not his happily ever after) And it wouldn’t be a New York’s Finest book without the witty commentary of Nonna, the onery grandmother to the Moretti siblings. She’s a riot and always makes me laugh every scene she’s in. CUFF ME is a wonderful story full of excitement and humor sprinkled with a tough-as-nails kind of love that will leave you completely satisfied. I whole-heartedly recommend the entire series! ***I was gifted an eBook copy from the publisher via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. All conclusions reached are my own***
