'Twas the night before Christmas,
when out in the shed,
This dad was still working,
his family in bed.

He'd shoveled the snow and broken off icicles,
Now he was trying to make room for bicycles.

Dad knew that old Santa would bring them tonight;
The notes had been mailed that he'd seen his kids write.

But where would he put them?
The shed's full of junk.
He looked around hopelessly till his heart sunk.

It was right at this moment
Dad heard a strange noise.
He turned his head quickly and there stood some small boys.

Well, Dad thought they were boys,
they were all dressed in green.
With big grins on their faces,
the widest he'd seen.
