About the Author

Sally Nash was originally a secondary school teacher. She has worked in ministry and theological education for many years, including with British Youth for Christ, St John’s College Nottingham and St Padarn’s Institute in Cardiff. Sally enjoys writing and has published a range of books and articles on different aspects of ministry, including work with children and young people. She is a practical theologian with research interests in shame, longevity in ministry and paediatric spiritual care. Sally is a self-supporting associate minister in an outer estate church.
Phil is now retired from full-time ministry but occasionally leads worship and preaches. He and his wife Pauline enjoy exploring the local countryside and spending time with their grandchildren.
Jo Swinney is Director of Communications for A Rocha International and the author of eight books and counting. She has an MA in theology from Regent College, Vancouver, and lives in Bath with her husband and their two daughters.
Recently returned to ministry as a Reader in the Church of England, Liz Pacey attends StˆMichael and All Angels in North Hull, where she has been actively involved in setting up St Mike’s Crafty Co­ee and Chat. She also enjoys being a part of St Columba Knitwits charity group and is passionate about the coming together of knitting and spirituality.
