I was so nervous that the anticipation build up for this book was going to set the standards too high in my mind. I love Pride and Prejudice and have been so grateful to Sharon Lathan for writing her fantastic sequels that have allowed me to fall in love with the stories and characters, just as I did with Pride and Prejudice. Her continuation of the lives of Elizabeth and Darcy could not be more perfect and heart-fulfilling to read. Although each of her books have been a favorite at one time or another, my absolute favorite is Darcy and Elizabeth: A Season of Courtship. Hope for the Future had to be amazing to live up to the first of the two books. I am ecstatic to review that it exceeded my expectations, so much so that I have to re-read them both again immediately. Thank you so much Sharon for writing this beautiful story and allowing people who genuinely love the characters of Pride and Prejudice an intimate look into their lives.
