About the Author

D.K. Mckenzie is a New England based poet / writer.
His poems have been described as eclectic and potent while offering a glimpse into a wild and unpredictable psyche.
D.K.'s first experiences in writing came in the form of lyric writing as a song writer / music producer.
At some point in this phase of composing, his lyrics started to morph into more poetic and structured verses.
D.K. continued writing theses sometimes coarse, haiku / poems for years, until the epiphany came that what he was indeed scribbling down, other people called poetry.
It was upon discovering the poetry of Anne Sexton, that D.K. became more interested and passionate about composing serious poetry.
As of 2018, D.K. Mckenzie, currently holds more than five hundred poems in his archives.
He plans on releasing most of these in the form of books, e-books, and audiobooks.
