Dear Young Lady
In a world where youth often feels torn between fleeting pleasures and spiritual demands, walking with Christ is a bold, sometimes misunderstood, choice. How can you reconcile faith, freedom, and identity in a society that imposes its own norms? Increasingly, it's becoming difficult for young women to find a balance between the joys and carefree nature of youth and the diligence required when walking with Christ. So, we gradually enter this pre-conceived mold set by society, moving away from God to be accepted by the world. We abandon our spiritual identity to adopt the codes and "norms" that give us a place in society—those that standardize us, those that hurt and harden us, those that little by little define us. It's within this context that Beanguele, herself a young Christian woman, offers this epistolary work. It aims to be an authentic and powerful guide, but above all, an open letter, a conversation with all the other young Christian women who, like her, are trying to navigate the waves of life in Christ. In her first book, "Dear Young Lady", she offers personal and inspiring letters designed for all these young women who have chosen to follow Christ and are going through the stages and trials that can accompany this choice. It isn't a theoretical manual but a lived experience, a testimony. This life companion, "Dear Young Lady", draws on the Word of God to address the various realities that young women face in their lives and faith today. Beanguele is a young writer, a rising voice who, by combining a passion for writing with a love for the Lord, takes another step in her faith by publishing her first work. For the youth, by the youth, Beanguele's approach uses her experiences and realities to raise awareness and encourage all young women, including herself, to live a youth that honors Christ. Through "Dear Young Lady", Beanguele opens her heart and extends her hand to all those who seek to keep their light burning in the midst of storms. This work is not a theoretical manual but a series of intimate, profound, and inspiring letters that draw their strength from the Word of God and the author's experience. Each page is a sincere conversation, a reminder that you are not alone on your spiritual journey. This book is a companion on the road, a guide to learning how to live a fulfilled youth without compromising your faith.

About the Author

Maëva-Edith Beanguele Sassou-Nguesso, also known as Beanguele, is a young Congolese woman passionate about international relations, diplomacy, and the development of the African continent. She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Business Management. A staunch advocate of Pan-Africanism, she joined the Pan-African Youth Union (PYN) in 2022, starting as the Congo's ambassador. Her outstanding commitment earned her the title of Ambassador of the Year in 2023, before being promoted to Head of Coordination. Within the PYN, she actively works to promote Pan-African values among young people, notably through humanitarian initiatives that have a positive impact on communities across the continent. A devoted Christian, having converted from Catholicism to Evangelical faith, Beanguele is driven by a deep spirituality and a sincere love for God. Her book Dear Young Lady is for her an act of faith — a way to combine spirituality, her passion for writing, and her commitment to youth. Inspiring and encouraging young women to build themselves with faith, strength, and conviction is a cause she holds dear.
