CHAPTER 1
How You Got to Be Who You Are
This is where we learn why you are stuck in your life and your body. It's not your fault. You didn't know that any other possibility for your life existed. From day one, you came into this world with a design or a blueprint. If you are reading this, there is a chance your blueprint has some incorrect dimensions and words that need revisions since your current one has caused you grief and sorrow.
Let's start with the blueprint you came here with: the DNA and genetics of your design. If those aren't of the best design, the rest of it will follow suit. You'll have a life with many cracks that are just like the cracks in the roof or walls of a poorly designed home. If you were to build a home today, you would use a blueprint. (At least, that's what they used to call them. Now they come in different versions that can be viewed and built from. The old blueprint technologies have disappeared.) I'd like to use this home blueprint as a metaphor for your body and life.
Now, let's give a brief description using this home blueprint as an example of your design. It all starts with the foundation plan, because that's the beginning stage for any type of construction. From there, you build the first-floor system. Following that are the walls on the first floor, both exterior and interior. Following the walls comes the next upper level (if there is one — if not, it would be the ceilings and then the roof structure, which make up the entire skeleton structure of the home). From here, you finish up the design by buttoning it up with roofing and siding materials to completely enclose it. Next comes the fun part: selecting colors and materials to decorate the entire interior of your home. After completing your design with all the selections, it is ready for you to enjoy living in for many years to come.
If your foundation — in this comparison, your bone structure — is impaired, then everything else will be. All of your innards, along with your skin, would be the rest of the blueprint, such as the studs, wiring, plumbing, insulation, and finish materials. They would most likely represent the skin, your exterior that is seen. The inner materials, such as wiring and plumbing, are your veins and filtering systems that move blood, food, and waste. The kitchen would be considered the heart of the home; that's where you feel the most loved, and it feeds your belly and your mind. You know what the bathrooms are used for — to wash yourself and remove your waste via your digestive tract.
Homes today can have everything programmed by computers that — for the most part — control everything. There are even applications you can install on your smartphone that allow you to operate most functions of the house without even being there. Prior to the computer, you had the main electrical panel, which contained the breaker switches for all the power in the house. You had to control what was on and what wasn't with switches, plugs, and thermostats. We still have the main electrical panels today, but they can be more sophisticated with the use of more advanced technologies.
Let's talk about the human brain, which is much like a computer. The human brain has a storage system that contains information and has software written to it, much like a hard drive. This storage system, or file, is the subconscious mind, and it's the main programming that operates everything you don't really think about every day. These things include breathing, your heart beating, communication with all your internal organs, walking, reading, eating, and digesting. All these things happen without your knowledge of how. They just happen, and these systems even work when you are sleeping. When you sleep, you reboot yourself and all of your organs. This is all handled by your programmed subconscious. The computer today is the same way; it makes calculations without you even knowing how, and it's all part of the programming.
I think you get the idea here. Let's move on to the programming parts of your mind and how you are affected every day by what's loaded onto them from the programming you have received and are receiving. Hang on because it's going to be a wild ride, and you'll learn an awful lot about yourself — possibly even some things you didn't want to learn.
This is where the mind/hard drive of your blueprint gets interesting because of the existing programs that are on it. They are happening every day in every way, even right now as you are reading this. You are programmed on a daily basis by everything you see, hear, and taste. Starting from the day you entered this world, you began getting programmed. If the preloaded programs that are installed onto your brain aren't good ones, such as viruses or corrupted files, then you can expect issues and problems in your life. These are some of the things that are being kept from you so that you wouldn't learn the real secret to the deception, which has been here for thousands of years.
If you control the mind, then you control the body. Thus, you control the people. Think of training a dog and the tricks you teach it. You teach it to sit, lie down, stay, or even come when called. It's the mind you are teaching and controlling. It's very much the same thing with humans. What about children and the things we teach them from the very start? They learn from what we say, what they see, what they taste, what they hear, and so on. Children learn from their senses, and the lessons are all being recorded into children's subconscious minds. If they are taught and surrounded by teachings and an environment that isn't the very best for them, what can you expect from them in the future?
We Are All Taught Tricks That We Respond To
The secret I'm talking about is controlling a mind with terrible programming and viruses or healthy programming from a good education and plenty of love. In each case, the mind is what makes people who they are. The same thing that happens to computers happens to people. Some people start to have problems and break down quite a bit; they can't be fully functional, and then their health begins to deteriorate. There are even days when they don't operate. They experience illnesses that require help from doctors. They even have doctors who work on their minds. Epidemic levels of people seek psychiatric treatment. These doctors really have some fun working on people's brains because of the terrible programming they've received — and they continue to feed themselves because they don't know any better.
So Who Are You?
What kind of person are you? I know that I've hit on some very strange and possibly sensitive subjects with all of this subconscious programming stuff, but I really believe that if you had the answers to why or how to this, you'd be a much happier and more fulfilled person. You wouldn't be constantly looking outside for happiness because you'd know that you own it now. This is something that has just been in a folder in a file cabinet, back in your mind, intentionally hidden and closed. But you can discover it, dig it out, dust it off, open it up, and resume from there! Life is not a competition; the only person you should be competing with is you! Everyone or everything else that is there is only a temporary distraction from you.
You and Your Vehicle — Your Physical Body
How much do you love yourself? If I offered you a million dollars to give me an honest answer to that question, I bet you could. However, it's not me who you need to give that answer to; it's you. With or without the money as an incentive, you should be able to answer that quickly. How much do you love your car, your spouse, your children, your pets, your house, or your sports team?
This is a very important question to ask yourself because this will tell you if you are ready for this book or not. You need to truly love what and who you are at the highest level. If you don't love yourself almost to the point of being considered conceited, where your ego takes over and is running the show, it's because of the programming you've had over the years. Some people rely too much on others to take care of them and all too often trust that professionals would never mislead them. Many of us take better care of our vehicles than we do our own bodies.
Look at yourself versus a vehicle — specifically, your car or truck. To begin with, how often do you wash and wax your car, what fuel do you feed it, and how often do you change the oil and filters? What happens if the main fan belt snaps or one of your headlights goes out? What would you do if the check engine light came on? Would you pull over immediately or put black electrical tape over that annoying red light to hide it? If your brakes are squeaking, that is your indicator that it's time to have them replaced. These squeaky sounds or red lights are there for a very good reason: to let you know that there is an issue that needs attention soon if not immediately! When the tires become worn down, they become extremely dangerous in wet conditions and won't get you anywhere in snowy conditions. If you take good care of your vehicle, it will give you many good miles in return.
Let's answer these questions one by one now. First off, if you care about your vehicle, you probably wash your car once a month and wax it at least once a year. This is very important to protect the exterior paint, and it looks great when it's clean. As for the type of fuel you use, if the manufacturer recommends high-test fuel, then you probably use that or the next grade down. As long as it runs well and doesn't knock, all is well. The oil filter and oil should be changed every 3,000 to 3,500 miles. At least that's what the big chain oil service companies want, but manufacturers often say it can go longer, depending on how you operate your vehicle.
If the fan belt snaps or is ready to do so, I hope you're smart enough to catch it and have it replaced. It will cost a whole bunch more later if you don't! My ex-wife and I had a great 1988 four-door, four-cylinder Honda Civic. We either neglected to read the manual or weren't told that around the eighty thousand-mile mark, it is highly suggested to have the timing chain belt replaced with a new one. Well, we were driving south on Route 84 at night — the car had more than a hundred thousand miles on it — when the car started to slow down. We quickly pulled off onto the breakdown lane — thank God they had one.
The engine wasn't running and wouldn't start up again. We had it towed to a mechanic I knew in Plainville, Connecticut, only to find out the timing chain had snapped. After the whole inconvenience of it all, it cost us over $2,300 for the repair because we needed a whole new head to the engine. The labor was much more because of all the extra work. If we had done the chain as recommended, it would have cost around $200 for the whole job. How foolish were we? We learned a great lesson about cars then for sure.
Let's consider what happens if the check engine light comes on. It's telling you that you need to have the engine checked soon — or else it will cost a whole lot later. We get it checked and repaired, and away we go. Please don't be the type of person who simply tapes over the annoying red light on your dashboard! As for the brakes and tires, this is routine maintenance. It will be obvious when the brakes are getting ready because they will squeal. Do them right away. If you wait, you'll have to replace two rotors or wheel drums because you've wasted the brake linings down to metal. Gouging the rotors and drums is not a good idea! The tires will only last thirty to fifty thousand miles and should be changed when you can't see Lincoln's head on a penny between the tire treads. Look at me — I sound like a doctor or a mechanic. Oh well, they are almost the same thing.
Let's look at it from the flip side and how you take care of yourself. How often do you groom yourself and take a shower or a bath? How much rest are you getting, and is it quality rest? How much exercise are you getting? This is one of the most important things you should be doing — at least a few times a week — even if it's simply going for long walks. What is your eating like? This is the fuel that gives or removes energy from you. Are the foods you eat robbing you of energy? Are you eating sugars and fatty processed foods that strip your energy and make you sleepy? Consider that your automobile has gasoline as fuel. Your foods are your fuel. Would you feed your auto fuel that makes it sleepy or lethargic? How much water are you drinking to replenish the water in you? This also is a fuel to humans and very much a necessity.
The food and water you ingest — and everything that you allow into your body — feeds it in some way. Most importantly are your thoughts and the images you take in: TV programs, movies, video games, music, and news. These things affect you to the core and make up who you are. What is your thinking like? Is it positive or negative? Your brain is similar to a muscle. It needs to keep being exercised or it will fade and shrink with lack of use. Remember that old saying "use it or lose it"? It is the truth. Always keep using all of your muscles. Even small amounts matter.
Let me give you another example of you the vehicle (your body) you are here with, in comparison to a race horse. Let's say you decided to purchase a race horse, you want this horse to be the best it can be, and with the best training right? Would you feed this horse carbohydrates, foods high with sugar, soda, excessive alcohol, let it smoke cigarettes, maybe watch pornography, stay up late to watch the daily news, all of this day after day and expect your horse that you invested quite a bit of your money to win races? Of course you wouldn't. You'd feed this prize winning potential horse the best you can. You would probably get the best trainer you can find as well to get into shape. This horse would be eating the best foods, water, and nutrients one can find for sure. You know this would be the case, don't you? It's time to start feeding yourself the same exact way. You are the only one you'll have, and it's time to take better care of it-yourself, because you are so worth it in every way.
We tend to take for granted that we will run forever without major illnesses that eventually could have us pulling over onto the breakdown lane if we don't maintain ourselves properly. If an issue arises, we run to the doctor, which is pretty normal. However, they too frequently just write up a prescription without really assessing the cause of the issue and use "tape" to cover it up with a prescription. We've done the same with our bodies by ceding power to the doctors and the products that they are allowed to administer.
We all too often give our bodies up to gain wealth and success, only to find out later — when it may be too late to regain our health — by giving up our wealth. See anything wrong with this way of living? We take better care of our automobiles than ourselves. We overlook that our physical bodies will be the only ones we'll have in this lifetime; please respect and take better care of it.
Coming back to that original question, how much do you love yourself? You probably don't think about it all that much. With all the chaos in our lives, how can you answer that question? You probably have never thought about it. We are constantly on the run. We get up and go about our days in a habitual way, watching our programs or sports at night, going to bed, and waking up only to start the whole day again. We are kind of like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. I know some days feel that way.
It's not your fault that you are where you are right now. That is what society has done and created, and it's a part of the mold your parents were part of. They were only doing what was natural to them. So the process continues, without you knowing or them knowing that it's right or wrong. We are all programmed on a daily basis by the habits we perform on a daily basis and outside sources, such as the media, and their subliminal messages. The deceptive mind control created by the people who rule over this planet have us under their spell, particularly to be good consumers of their pharmaceuticals, their warfare, or their latest fast-food products.
We have an epidemic, and most people are unhappy with themselves, their relationships, their jobs, or their children. We are lost and want answers to why we are unhappy and unfulfilled. We put the blame on all the other people in our lives, starting with our parents, spouses, and then bosses. Most importantly, we accept the way things are. It just keeps escalating from there. We do not realize that we can stop that train anytime we want to. We allow it to happen in the first place by buying into the whole design of it because we are programmed to.
Unfortunately, you can't just do a reboot or a reformat of your brain as easily as you do a computer. You don't know how, and it will take some time to rework and rewire your thinking and your current programming. In future chapters, I will give you the best ways to rewire and reprogram yourself. It can be done, and it will allow you to read other authors' works that really delve deeper into areas of our lives that you may like to have corrected and fulfilled. You'll truly absorb what they are teaching about this wonderful experience we are supposed to have on this earth.
It's not really your fault. You didn't even know that you were being programmed the way you are. I'm telling you all of this because you don't need to take the whole blame or any of it. It's just our ignorance in the design of it all.
