About the Author

Mark W. Danielson is a mystery author and airline pilot whose reality based novels have shared startling coincidences with actual events. Diablo’s Shadow (2008) echoes a Florida missing child case that drew national attention. Danger Within (2002) is an action thriller that takes the reader into the world of commercial aviation and underwater salvage. The Innocent Never Knew (2004) is a political conspiracy that parallels the suspicious death of President Clinton’s Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown. Writer’s Block (2010) is the first in the Maxx Watts detective series set in Fort Worth. Look for many more adventures with Maxx and his cohorts.

In addition to writing novels, Mr. Danielson has authored numerous non-fiction articles that have appeared in periodicals and professional magazines. While in the United States Navy, he was twice selected as their top author. His worldwide travels enable him to write from a perspective shared by few.

Not being familiar with Mr. Danielson's work, I decided to take a flyer. In short, wow! Mark's plot is ingenious, and his writing moves like wildfire. I was humming along near the end, convinced I'd figured out who the bad guy was ... and the twist hit me like a shotgun blast. Totally blindsided me. Months later, I still think about how caught I was by it. All in all, a fine piece of writing that I recommend it wholeheartedly.
