Everyone seems to agree that remodeling your kitchen and bath are the two areas of your home that can increase its value if you ever decided to sell it. But what if you dont plan to sell it and just want to upgrade it? There is one big thing to consider: the cost. Remodeling a kitchen can kill your monthly budget or drain your savings in one big gulp.
And yet it is the #1 project on the wish list of most homeowners.
Im not going to give you the pros and cons of remodeling your kitchen, since Im guessing if you're looking at this book, your decision has already been made to do it. This is also not a how-to encyclopedia of kitchen remodeling. That wouldnt be too practical in an eReader style book. So, although Ive outlined couple of heres how you do it chapters, this book is mostly intended to give you an overview of whats involved in a kitchen makeover, as well as some of the options youll have along the way.
Here are a few chapter titles:
Basic Kitchen Layouts
What Stuff Will You Need?
Cabinets
The Kitchen Sink
The Dishwasher
Contemporary Built-In Appliances
Kitchen Flooring Options
Stoves
Creating a Kitchen Island
Kitchen Lighting
