Doctor Who FAQ: All That's Left to Know about the Most Famous Time Lord in the Universe based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
Being big Dr. Who fans (my daughter and I), I was titillated when I received this book to review. Being that Dr. Who first aired in 1963, and with thousands of episodes to be seen, including branch-offs, it is that it is most recently just now becoming a major phenom in America with books, such as this, quickly becoming part of the fan base collection. “What do you think of my new face, by the way?” Author Dave Thompson doesn’t leave anything out, covering the wide spread of Doctors, villains, and assistants who accompany the Doctor, and showing the immense research and time that was put into it. With twenty-two chapters filled to the brim with everything you ever wanted to know, or never even knew, it is all here for the readers to fill their Dr. Who needs. Many readers will be thrilled to get the real back story of this television show, as many might be unaware that there have been eleven Doctors, with the most recent three being the most identifiable among the younger generation and newer viewers. However, I highly suggest taking all of the information provided and starting as far back at the beginning as possible and watching them, this guide in hand, maybe even having a Dr. Who Marathon Party! Many episodes were destroyed during the 1970s due to space limitations and the lack of the digital age, which meant a major loss for us in the future. (Sounds like a possible future episode!) Definitely pick this book up, without delay, and watch as you become the Dr. Who know-all… Now where’d I park my Tardis? *This book was provided in exchange for an honest review* *You can view the original review at San Francisco Book Review
