With unmatched suspense and emotional insight, Harlan Coben explores the big secrets and little lies that can destroy a relationship, a family, and even a town in this powerful new thriller. Suburban New Jersey Detective Napoleon “Nap” Dumas hasn't been the same since senior year of high school, when his twin brother Leo and Leo’s girlfriend Diana were found dead on the railroad tracks—and Maura, the girl Nap considered the love of his life, broke up with him and disappeared without explanation. For fifteen years, Nap has been searching, both for Maura and for the real reason behind his brother's death. And now, it looks as though he may finally find what he's been looking for. When Maura's fingerprints turn up in the rental car of a suspected murderer, Nap embarks on a quest for answers that only leads to more questions—about the woman he loved, about the childhood friends he thought he knew, about the abandoned military base near where he grew up, and mostly about Leo and Diana—whose deaths are darker and far more sinister than Nap ever dared imagine.

Another outstanding book from Mr Coben. He never let's his fans down. Where some authors of today pump out a book each month, he takes his time and produces quality instead of quanity. Highly recommend this and everything this very talented author has written.

Once again Harlan draws you into this story on page 1 and you just can't put the book down. Would have liked an epilogue maybe 5 years later saying how everyone was doing.

Detective thriller which is a exciting, engaging page-turner This novel by Harlan Coben DSL’s with Nap, a policeman with a vigilante streak, investigating his twin brother’s death. It also involves several murders, cover-ups, betrayal and multiple revelations which throw several spanners in the works. There are plenty of interesting characters, some likeable, some less so. The book moves along at a good steady pace, chapters are short, and the plot is intricate. Recommended to all lovers of detective fiction, I read it in a couple of days. Well worthwhile. I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow, the last 50 pages finally put this together. Don’t Let Go was a fascinating read. I don’t know whether the long reach of the law would reach out after 15 years. But Cobin manages to weave a plot that sticks together through the years.

Ronaldo Angeles 15-May-2018 The book “Don’t Let Go” is a thriller and suspenseful book which was made by Harlan Coben. The story follows the main protagonist Napoleon “Nap” Dumas who has been questioning his brother’s death and the disappearance of his girlfriend who went missing right after it happened. When two cops arrive at his door step, they reveal that Maura’s (who was his girlfriend) fingerprint were at the scene of a murder. Napoleon questions why Muara would be at the scene of a cop murder and decides to figure it on. This story has many unexpected twists and turns and will make you not want to put the book down. The point of view is 3rd person limited. The book is fast paced, and many things happen at once. They never really drag or stretch out the story. I believe that they could’ve worked better on the antagonist. There really isn’t a main antagonist until you get half of the way through the book. However, the protagonist, who is Nap, is built great. They make him seem like a normal person just like everyone else and they don’t really exaggerate his persona. One of the major conflicts in the book is Nap figuring out what happened with the “Conspiracy Club” and why they are being hunted down. Nap is the one who puts himself in charge on trying to find out what’s going on. This leads him to more questions then answers really. The one thing I would change about this book is one of the character’s death. I just didn’t find it fair for them to kill him off, but then again if they hadn’t, Nap wouldn’t figure out who was behind It all. My favorite character would have to be Hank. They don’t really go into that much detail of hank, but I loved him. He was misunderstood which made him who he was. Overall, I enjoyed the book. It was great. It kept me up all day, the minute I got my hands on it I just couldn’t put it down. I would recommend this book for anyone who is looking for unexpected twist. You get a lot in the book.
