After that, the first and worst Larry and Laura Nightengale, even though they were brother and sister, begat Valerie and Lou Nightengale, two sisters with very different destinies. One was destined to be the town whore. The other one was destined to be grand, to be mighty, to be the ruler of all who came before her and, in time, she passed that mighty, mighty torch on to me as well she should have.

Years later, Jack Preston and Valerie Nightengale, one of the two sisters with very different destinies, begat Jonathan Preston. At the same time, Jack Preston and Lou Nightengale, the other sister who was a whore, begat Janet Preston. And years later, Jonathan and Janet Preston begat Dustin Preston, the son of a half-brother and a half-sister.
