Once you learn the secrets . . . there's no going back.

Sterling, city-state leader in the year 2117, and Sydney, her clone, are only connected by their genetic makeup and parallel romances. According to the Scientists who built them, their worlds are never meant to collide. But while Sydney parties with other duplicates underground, Sterling grows convinced that technology is moving too fast for the good of their young society.

Through her research, Sterling uncovers horrifying secrets about duplication and stands up to oppose the deceptive Scientists. Her choice embroils both young women in a battle with the force driving the city-state.

Will either duplicate survive with her beliefs intact, or will their worlds come crashing down?

Full-length YA novel (~76,000 words, 280 pages softcover).
