Overview

Darcey Bussell and Roberto Bolle star in Frederick Ashton's extravagant three act ballet detailing the Greek myth of Sylvia - a classic beauty who earned the love of Aminta before being forcefully spirited away by Orion and ultimately set free by Eros. Staged during the seventy-fifth anniversary celebrations for The Royal Ballet, Frederick Ashton's production was inspired by the timeless music of Léo Delibes.
