Dying to Live: History Echoes the Future

Grandfather, Cameron Thorpe, works tirelessly to prepare his grandson, Lachlan, for a monumental battle against evil. This malevolent force Lachlan will face thinks nothing of genocide, the rape and brutality of young women, and the poisoning of his devoted mother who spoiled and nurtured him into adulthood. Following World War IV, Cameron has survived two nuclear holocausts, witnessed the annihilation of his native country, and participated in prophetic reform using unorthodox, and possibly unethical, methods. Although Lachlan could never have imagined the story that would unfold, or the family secrets revealed, Cameron perseveres in ensuring his grandson has the knowledge and know-how to combat man’s inhumanity to man.

About the Author

As a Certified Public Accountant, L. J. Dionne’s vast exposure to the corporate world through auditing introduced Dionne to the entertainment industry via work experience at Turner Broadcasting Systems Inc., Warner Bros., and Universal Pictures. As Universal’s production controller, Dionne spent years in the unenviable position of having to interface between the “creatives” and accountants. Needless to say, Dionne decided to join the “creatives” and write. After years of researching the prophecies of Edgar Cayce, Nostradamus, and Sylvia Browne, studying the consistencies surrounding psychic revelations and near-death expericences, and witnessing the deterioration of racial cohesiveness in America, the story of Dying to Live emerged.
