Biography

Following a professional career in higher education teaching and administration in the states of New Jersey, New York, Washington and Oregon, Jim Kennison is now directing his focus on creative writing from his home on the central Oregon coast.
His novels include Letters from a Bounty Hunter (Outskirts Press), Big Trouble in a Small Town (Avalon Books), Heartbreak Trail to Pueblo (Avalon Books), and A Sentimental Journey – Planes, Trains and Two-Star Hotels (Bottom of the Hill Publishing).
In addition to his novels, he has numerous poems and short stories to his credit, including The Stranger in Rail Camp Seven which appears in TRAILS WEST . . . an Anthology of Western Lore (Bottom of the Hill Publishing) and A Christmas Storm, featured in the anthology COWBOY CHRISTMAS (Bottom of the Hill Publishing).
