The storyline is actually good but the sexual parts are overpowering the story. I skim through all the sex parts as it really adds nothing to the storyline. The author could have made it so much more interesting if the sexual parts were more limited and action more prominent.

Good in the beginning but middle to end was as if a prepubescent girl wrote it. Too drawn out and sappy

Leaves you hanging wit no end in sight. Well written however a waste of time. I recommend not starting to read this sadly unending series.

the story was really good, but slow moving at times, particularly in the kissing scenes. I skipped through those to get back to the story.

I read the 1-5 books because I got them for free. I'll tell you what...free was too much. The books were slow and the female character has yet to evolve. Too much time is devoted to the angsty feelings she has for Quinn, and not enough time is given to developing her powers. She is constantly the damsel in distress (having to be rescued by others) and this character is a terrible example of womanhood for the "young adults" these books are supposedly aimed at. I wouldn't read the next books in the series if they were free also. That's 661 pages of my life I won't get back. Don't bother with this series. If you like a strong female heroine, this isn't the series for you.

I enjoyed every minute of reading these books, I'm going to continue the series

Interesting plot idea but it was too drawn out, over 600 pages could have been done in 300. And then it still had no ending. I hate cliffhangers. They are a cheat. Won't bother to buy 6

I'm looking forward to reading the next ones. It was easy to get attached to the charachters. It's been a while since a book moved me to tears. I wish there were book bundles for the rest of the books. I enjoyed reading books 1-5 all at once.

I wasn't too sure about this series when I first started it but by the end of the first book I was hooked! I love a good love story and this one is amazing!! If only things like this truly existed, it would be a magical place.

I thought this was going to be interesting. 300 pages in and I just couldn't ready any more. Repetative, boring over most of the book, and snooze worthy. Marking this author off my list.

I have enjoyed all five books. And I hate that I have stop and buy another book or set of books in order to finish the story. It has been good though. Your writing has held my interest. Even though I thought Paula, being a witch, would havebeen better since after so many things had happened to her. Even when she was on or within the coven lands. She hadn't learned anything. And that is how white women act in the movies. I really hate when that happens. Even after being warned. But even with this dislike, I still would like to finish the whole story. Or should I ask, "Does the story have an ending"?Anyway I have enjoyed the story. And I hope it has a book containing the rest of the books of the story.

Books 1-5 are exactly as the summary claims; at one point I was so caught up I felt Layla's grief
