This is a very critical period, the plates of history are moving again and colliding. We're moving into a multicentric world. The tendency to regionalise problems, challenges and solutions is therefore logical. In the Eastern Mediterranean some countries want to build a system of commonly accepted norms and behavior. According to the dominant narrative in Greece, there is a gap between Congress and the US administration for the Eastern Mediterranean, which indicates a lack of understanding of how politics is shaped in the US and how it is changing today. The Eastern Mediterranean is once again at the center of global developments and is becoming an area of competition between the USA, China and Russia, with the EU. for the time being in an observer role. In this volatile environment, the causes and consequences of the critical changes that our country is faced with are analyzed in a way that is understandable, but strictly scientific, in a series of enjoyable discussions by journalist Makis Provatas with two International Relations professors, Dimitris Kairidis and Konstantinos Filis.
