About the Author

Gervasio creció en Buenos Aires. Allí estudio música, economía y ciencia política. Por un tiempo vivió solo en un apartamento en Vicente Lopez. Allí escribió El Grillo y luego tras graduarse de la carrera de Economía se mudo a una casa que había pertenecido a sus padres para montar un estudio de grabación. En el 2003 tomo su velero y subió navegando hasta Miami. La travesía tomo 95 días y al llegar se reencontró con su familia que vivía allí desde 1993. La soledad se había acabado. Hoy sigue escribiendo y componiendo música desde Miami.

Gervasio Goris grew up in Buenos Aires where he studied music, economics and political science. During ten years after his teens he lived in an apartment in Vicente Lopez, where he wrote El Grillo. After graduating from college he moved to a house that belonged to his parents to set up a recording studio. In 2003 he sailed his boat from Buenos Aires to Miami where his family was residing since 1993. Loneliness had ended. Today he keeps writing and composing music from Miami.
