About the Author

Henry Thew Stephenson (1870-1957), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, was a teacher and writer. He graduated from Ohio State, then Harvard and Indiana Universities, and was an associate professor of English at Indiana. His works include Shakespeare's London (1905) and the novels The Fickle Wheel: A Story of Elizabethan London (1901) and Christie Bell of Goldenrod Valley (1918).
