Overview

Long ago when Angragar was the shining light of the human world, elves and humans were allies and trading partners, but that was centuries ago. When the elves ended their siege of the ancient human city, they enshrouded it in an impenetrable jungle and left caretakers to hide it from prying eyes. Now Angragar has awakened, and elves have appeared among the humans.

After escaping from the Island of Darkness, the elves, Eltor and Caldal, seek to sail to Elvangar. They need the help of the humans to return to their homeland, but they refuse to divulge its location. The human emperor, Marak, needs the elves to ally with him against the coming evil and strikes a bargain with the elves. Deliver his offer to the queen of the elves and Eltor and Caldal can have a ship to return home.

About the Author

Richard S. Tuttle started writing epic fantasy in 1997 with the release of the Targa Trilogy, a short series that introduces the heroes of the Alcea Collection. In 1998, he started an ambitious project of creating two separate and distinct series. The Sword of Heavens series continued the saga of the Alcea Collection with the next generation of heroes. It consists of 7 volumes and was completed in 2003. Simultaneously, he created the Forgotten Legacy series, an unrelated 8-volume tale of magic and mystery set in a new and varied world. The Forgotten Legacy series was completed in 2004.

In 2005, Richard created a 2-volume miniseries, Complement for a King. The series chronicles a gripping tale of a world where magic has become a consuming force, and focuses on three young princes who must strive to restore equilibrium to a world gone awry.

Starting in 2006, Richard spent 4 years on a 7-volume addition to the Alcea Collection, writing the Demonstone Chronicles. The series pits a recovering Alcea against a massive mysterious enemy that the Alceans are unaware of. The Demonstone Chronicles was completed in 2009.

Richard spent all of 2010 recording the Alcea Collection and releasing it in various audio book formats.

Elvangar is one of his best. Tuttle's tale weaves, dips and rushes through electrifying settings, touching situations and at times almost baffling episodes. Readers must keep on their toes. Characters we have learned to trust continue to speak to us through the magic of Writer Tuttle's fertile imagination.

Richard S. Tuttle is again at his writing best in "Elvangar: Book Six of Forgotten Legacy". The author's ability to continue this saga in a dramatic, exciting tone is to be commended. Intrigue and suspense fill the book, as does much action, and even romance. The ending is quite fulfilling, and sets the reader up for the next book in the series. I very highly recommend this book to all Richard S. Tuttle fans, and to anyone who's never read this author's fantastical fantasy tales.
