About the Author

Jesmine Ahmed, currently teaching in the Department of Political Science Assam University, Diphu Campus as a Guest faculty. She is pursuing her Ph.D.in the same department. She has completed her M.A. in Political Science from Guwahati University and M.Phil. from Assam University. She has more than two years of teaching experience at Post-Graduate and Under Graduate level. She has qualified UGC-NET. Her area of interest is International Relations and Geo-Politics. She has written more than ten research articles in repute journals towards her credit. Rita Saikia is a Ph.D. scholar in the Department of Political Science, Assam University, Diphu Campus. She has completed her Master of Arts in Political Science from Dibrugarh University. She has published several articles on ethnicity, women empowerment, rural development, IndoUS relationship, Indo-Afghanistan relationship etc. She has also qualified State Eligibility Test conducted by North-East Region. Her area of research is Foreign Policy and International Relations. Dr. Niranjan Mohapatra | currently teaching Political I Science in Assam University, Silchar, (Diphu Campus). He has been awarded Ph.D. in' Political Science from University of Hyderabad. He has ten years of teaching experience at Post Graduate level. He has successfully guided several research scholars for Ph.D. and M.Phil. He has published more than twenty research articles in repute journals and published one book on Indo-Russian Relations. His area of interest is International Relations, Strategic and Defence Studies.
