The sounds in the early morning, just before the new light of day broke, woke Tulock and Kayala. The sound was unusual, deep, the new and strange sound still rang through the air, vibrating with authority and fierceness. Immediately, the senses of both were alerted to a powerful, maybe even deadly, presence here on this island.
What lurked deep in the jungle on this new island? For the moment, they could only huddle together and hope they would remain safe this night.
With many twists and turns in events, the tribe is split into families and sub-families as all the tribe search for Tulock and Kayala, unknown to most of the tribe that Tulock had abducted Kayala. The reason why was unknown to any of those who went in search of them. The imbittered Shaman, Cruga, was the only one who remained on the island, keeping with tradition of chanting to the volcano god, preparing for the sacrifice of the maiden Kayala. Not one person could have ever forseen what was to happen in the days, even months that lay ahead for each member of the tribe.
