In the seventh book of the Talon Pack series from NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan, a Healer is forced to come to grips with the idea that he can’t save everyone…including the woman he loves.

Walker Brentwood vowed to the moon goddess that he’d protect his Pack and Heal with every last ounce of his power. He’s watched his siblings and cousin battle the worst circumstances to find love and is now afraid that the one woman who could be his might not have much time left. The rules of mating have changed, and Walker will do what he has to in order to protect the bonds that have eluded him for so long.

Aimee Reagan knows there’s something wrong with her. She’s known since the first time she found out shifters were real and magic existed. When the Talon Pack’s enemy sets his sights on her, her battle to survive becomes even harder.

Walker and Aimee must turn to each other when the powers around them change and the paths that had been laid before them are no longer clear. But when their passion threatens a curse far older than anyone dreamed, they’ll only have one chance to save something worth more than a mating bond. Their future.

I like the story between Walker and Aimee. It was a long time coming for Walker. He was hoping that he find his mate but the bonds were screw up, which was making it hard to finding mates. Once he knew what his wolf knew they wanted to start out slow but fate had other ideas. I can’t wait for the next book t watch the next brother fall and hopefully will learn more about Audrey..

Finally we have the quiet healer Walker gets his book, since Tattered Loyalties I have wanted Walker's book one of the Brentwood Triplets and the most likeable in the series. His book I have been patiently waiting for and it finally arrived. I cannot not say I didn't read this book in one day because I did it was just too good to put down. Walker and Amiee definitely had me close to tears the only other Brentwood story that can come close was Brynn Brentwood's book. This was truly a perfect HEA for Walker I don't think I could have taken this story seriously if it didn't almost have me crying I have loved these Brentwoods since the Redwood pack series and I cannot wait for the next chapter in their story.

Carrie Ann Ryan turned up the heat in her latest Talon Pack novel. Eternal Mourning follows the riveting journey of Walker and Aimee in this exciting paranormal world of shifters and magic. I absolutely loved this book. Walker and Aimee were such great characters, and their story was incredibly rich with scorching chemistry and passion. OMG ! This couple had to fight against more than one formidable enemy. They had to overcome one trial after another as the author kept the situation lively with many twists. Let's just say that I can't wait for Blade and his Scarlett witch to get what's coming to them. Also, I loved catching up with the other Talon Pack characters from the previous books. With only Kameron and Max as the only single wolves left I can't help but wonder about what's next. I've been following the Redwood and Talon Packs since the beginning. I haven't missed a book and am always eagerly looking forward to every book. I loved this one and with Kameron and Max as the only single Talon wolves left I can't help but wonder about what's going to happen when they get their books. Up next is Strength Enduring in July 2018. It's Kameron and Dhani's book. I can't wait for that one. I am reviewing a complimentary copy of this book.

Walker Brentwood was always content with his place in the pack, the Healer. He knew that he would be stronger with a mate by his side and while his cousins started to slowly finding their mates, he did not. He had watched each of his cousins practically fight against fate and their intended mate, but he was always open and hoping. However, it didn’t come. That was until he met Aimee. As a healer, he sensed the sickness in Aimee, but she was human. What could he do? Aimee had always felt different. Her family felt cursed, never able to get ahead. She felt her body failing her, but no one else seemed to be able to put a name to it. Was she going crazy? She knew she wasn’t. It was getting harder and harder to just live the life she’d tried to build for herself. When one of her best friends came out as a shifter, she stood by her because that was a love and friendship she’d hold onto. It was all she had. When Aimee met Walker, she felt something, but knew that it couldn’t last. Would she indulge in just a taste of the present even if they couldn’t have forever? Being welcomed into the Talon pack put Aimee and her friends in a precarious position with the dangers that still lurked, even after the war was over. Fate has a funny way of weaving lives, and Walker and Aimee were about to experience it. When they face an unexpected turn of events that put Aimee’s very life at risk, what irrevocable choices will be made? Will Walker lose the woman he’s pulled to? Could he even find a potential mate in a human? Carrie Ann Ryan writes another amazing tale of the Talon’s and their world. This story was emotional with both amazing highs and heartbreaking lows. You will get wrapped up in the tale of these two characters, which will have you cheering them on and yelling at them too. Amazing from start to finish!

Couldn’t put it down it was so good. Love how the whole series blends together. You’re never left wondering what happens to the other characters in the series.

Oh my gosh!! I have been so anxious for this book and it was better than I ever imagined!! This series is one of my favorite in the paranormal genre and with every book and every character, this series just keeps getting better and better!! Walker and Aimee are two characters who are drawn together, but both are scared and tread carefully around each other. The mating bonds in the pack have changed and Walker is scared that he will lose his mate before he even really has her. In Destiny Disgraced, Aimee started feeling weak and lethargic, but she didn't know why. Walker's instincts are to help Aimee, but every time he gets close to her, his wolf perks up and he is left wondering if she could really be his chosen mate. Walker is definitely the thinker of the family. He studies people and their patterns. I loved that he was careful with Aimee and respected her, and not just because she was Dawn's best friend, but because he actually respected her as a woman and a human. Aimee is definitely a strong willed woman. She doesn't shy away from the supernatural and never judges. She is going through some big changes in her life, Walker being one of them. Even though the book is focused on Walker and Aimee, we still get that drama and suspense from the drama that enfolded throughout the previous books. I love that Carrie Ann Ryan keeps you on your toes and with every book, the suspense gets better and better. The story line flows easily and true. I highly recommend starting this series from the beginning!! I am very excited for the next book!!

I loved Walker and Aimee. They had chemistry from their first meeting and I loved that it wasn't the guy who was resisting the match, it was actually Aimee. This story revisits old favorites and sets up the next book wonderfully. I love this series and loved the book so I highly recommend it.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this advanced copy of this book. OMG what an amazing book. The author captured my attention from the very beginning and wouldn’t let it go till the story was finished. I lived the way she is able to keep me captivated and entertained throughout the book. The storyline is great and just keeps getting better. I cannot wait until the next book in the series is released.

Walker is the healer of the Talon Pack and his driving force is to ensure the health and well being of his pack members. He has watched his fellow pack members find their true mates and he wants the same thing for himself but finding out it was Aimee was unexpected. Aimee is a friend of one of the pack members and she works at the diner. She has her own problems as she knows that she is dying but no one has been able to find anything wrong with her but she keeps getting weaker and weaker. Walker is drawn to Aimee in a way he can’t control and he first believes it is because she is not well but he soon realizes it is much more and he will do whatever he can to help her heal but that is only the beginning of the problems that they must face. This author has a talent for the combining the perfect mix of love and suspense and this story is no exception and a great addition to the series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I have read many of Carrie Ann's contemporary works, but this is a first for me reading one of her paranormal series and I very much enjoyed it. Carrie Ann writes rich characters and interesting world's and I found it very easy to jump right into the series with book 7. I had no problem following the story and putting together the characters. I look forward to reading more in the Talon Pack Series. I voluntarily received an ARC of Eternal Mourning and this is my honest review. Happy Reading:)

ETERNAL MOURNING is book seven in the Talon Pack series and although it's about a different couple than the previous books, it's probably better to read from the beginning in order to get the full effect of the storyline. This is a paranormal romance...Walker is a century old werewolf and the "Healer" of the pack. Aimee is the human friend of his sister-in-law, his newly found mate and impossibly sick. Amongst a changing world where humans are trying to accept the supernatural, Walker fights to save Aimee from a curse that's killing her. Aimee and Walker's story is a little sweeter, a little more SWOONY than other books in this series. But this doesn't make the book any less awesome! As a healer, it's Walker's nature to want to help people and he NEEDS to help Aimee break her curse. He's so caring, loving and affectionate...perhaps not the most ALPHA MALE around but still all growly protective of his mate. I loved Walker! And I adored watching Aimee fight to find her inner strength. She was physically weak in the beginning but not mentally. Walker's love does more than heal her body, it heals her soul and it may sound cheesy but it was so..very..sweet! The story is told in dual POVs but with a few teaser chapters thrown in that help to set up book eight. WOOT WOOT! I'm looking forward to reading the next few books and finding out what happens to this intriguing group of mystical men and women. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is a fine addition to the Talon Pack novels. Walker, the Healer in the pack and one of the triplets, has always wanted to find his mate. With the bonding magic in a constant state of flux, it is difficult to be sure anymore if your mate is your mate. Walker knows his wolf is drawn to Dawn's human friend Aimee but is it because she is his mate or because there is obviously something wrong with her health? Aimee has been feeling weaker and weaker and none of the doctors she has seen have been able to find anything wrong with her. When she passes out at the diner where she works she is brought to the Talon den and put under the care of Walker. She feels a connection to this Healer, but she knows she does not have long to live and he doesn't deserve that pain. Can Walker find a way to save Aimee before it is too late? Will he get the chance to find out if she is his mate? Everything is about to change - again. I was given an advanced copy of this book to enjoy. My review is voluntary.

Surprise! Love this series and how Carrie Ann Ryan manages to keep it fresh. Yes, it's boy meets girl, go through troubles (end of their world, anyone?), learn to depend on each other and mate. But she adds so much more. And just when you think you have it figured out, you don't. Aimee and Walker's story pretty much followed the outline, but it's the bullets under the heading that kept my attention. Aimee is a human, but something more. Her health was a major issue as we learned in Dawn's book, but she was fierce and strong, a trait that I adore in female leads. Walker, as a healer, was less 'alpha' than his brothers and cousins. His sensitivity was a major turn on for me. Of course, as a healer, he, and/or his wolf, was drawn to the sick beauty, and as for her, who wouldn't be attracted to a Brentwood? Their courtship was backwards, as her illness forced them to do things a bit differently. As a wolf, Walker recognized his mate, but had to slow down because of her humanness. Throw in the surprise, which I won't spoil here, and that's when it really gets good. I love the two character leads and how they are described. Aimee has been the strong one of her group for so long, it takes her some time to let someone else in, to let someone take care of her for a change. I can only imagine how scary it must have been in her shoes, to be facing her own mortality, but not knowing why. Walker's patience is amazing, though, and I enjoyed watching his growth as well. Although this does have a HEA, it fits into the ongoing storyline with Blade as the antagonist and this story builds on it. I can't wait to read the next two books, they will be explosive!

Eternal Mourning is Carrie Ann Ryan's newest hit in the Talon Pack series! The anticipation had been building for this one for quite some time and boy did Ms. Ryan deliver. This story was jam packed from start to finish with drama, angst, action and tons of heat. Not to mention a major plot twist that was a total blind side. It was one of those stories that you quickly devour because you can't put it down but want to read slowly so you can savor every word. I was completely blown away. It was certainly one of Ms. Ryan's best.

So worth the wait... This highly emotional, steam hot sexy and heart pounding thrill ride was filled with passion, danger, mystery and everything I have come to expect from this magical world and so much more. Walker Brentwood is a sexy as sin, smart, compassionate healer and determined to save his mate as well as his pack. Aimee Reagan is sexy, sassy and not sure what is wrong but knows something is wrong and not sure how much time she has left to fix it. Could not get enough of this highly entertaining and dramatic romantic journey at will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end....

Walker & Aimee’s story grips you from the beginning and takes you on a wild ride. At times you’re holding your breath, hoping he found a way to save her, and hoping they’ll find a happy ever after. They both show such strength in different ways, they pull at your heart strings. I loved their story, and how they are together. I can’t wait to find out what happens next

OMG! Another amazing Talon Pack story. The men just keep getting hotter, the women more awesome, the hot sexy scenes that make you want to take a cold shower, and a fantastic story that grips you and makes you want to turn the page faster and yet you never want it to end.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are hones Walker has been waiting for his mate for a long while. But now that he found her, how can he save her ? Aimee knows that there is something wrong w/ her. She has been gettng sicker + sicker for a while. But that is not the only danger circling the Brentwoods Enemies are just waiting for the right opportunity to attacked. It looks like the found the weakest link, or is she ? Walker will do anything to try to cure his mate. Will he find the cure on time? Will the enemy suceed in harming the pack ? This was another great addition to the series. I loved the storytelling + the characters

This is book 7 in the Talon pack series and I highly recommend that you read the previous books so you understand the main story ARC and what happened to characters in this book previously. THis one is about Walker Brentwood and Aimee Reagan. Walker is the healer for the clan and has been trying to figure out how to change mating bonds back to how they should be along with keeping his family healthy and as whole as possible. Aimee is one of Dawn's human friends. She knows that there is something wrong with her but the doctor's still can't find anything no matter how often she has tests done. But she continues to decline for no reason and she knows it's just a matter of time before she is gone. But Walker refuses to lose he before he figures out whether Aimee is his mate or just someone he truly cares about. No matter what he wants to have that chance and he wants her to have the life she deserves. I absolutely loved this book! I have always liked Walker and couldn't wait for his book and boy this one didn't disappoint me in the least! Him and Aimee are perfect for each other and understand each other in ways that you certainly don't expect. When they figure out what is happening to her? I never expected that! Or how she is saved!! But it's those twists that made me love it even more! I can't wait for the next book and after reading what Audrey did for Aimee and Walker? I really hope to see a book about her HEA!!

Aimee is a human that is dying and Walker is her wolf mate. He's a healer but he may not be able to save the woman meant for him. I love that the mating bonds are coming back strong! Aimee was such a strong female lead and I loved her. Poor Walker was trying so hard to find a cure for her and it was only making things worse. As usual Carrie Ann Ryan brings her characters to life. I've been with these characters for so long, they feel like family. I can't wait for the next read received a free copy of this book
