My bicycle was stolen on a cold winter night. I was heartbroken. I was angry. I was frustrated. I was sad. I was confused. I was all of these things and more. I wanted to scream. All I could do is recite poems in her beautiful memories.
My sadness prompted feelings of the same people who had gone through similar misery.
The Poems of Feeling After a Bicycle is Stolen is an anthology of poems that speak to the sadness of having a bicycle stolen. The book speaks to the pain of the loss of a bicycle, the anger at the thief, and the sadness.
Kids cry and weep. They are sad because the person they loved has left them behind for good; they're mad that this is happening to them. Angry young people have their egos assaulted. They start to feel sorry for themselves and think they don't have a voice. Lonely old people feel they have lost their whole family. They feel that they have no one to talk to.
Nevertheless, some of the poems are humorous that also encompass topics on embarrassment.
