Grace is a protection angel. She stands up for what she believes in and will protect the ones that she loves no matter what. Angels aren't supposed to fall in love though...and there are consequences! Grace must choose what side she will fight for, who she loves, and how to keep everyone safe The whole tone of this book seemed very young, even for YA. But, that doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy portions about the story myself. My biggest gripes with this particular book had to do with goal, motivation, conflict, and believable plot points. Grace came off as much too immature for an angel who had been in existence for centuries.  I thought she made a lot of bad decisions and she was very self-centered. I liked her loyalty to Charlotte and her brother but she brought Josh into her world for very selfish reasons and everything that happened with him was her fault. They had this insta-love that I didn't really get into. I felt like they moved way too fast and had this eternal love after only one week . However, as soon as Grace changed, she suddenly had resurfacing feelings for Seth and she was now stuck in a love triangle.  Josh. He is ecstatic to have Grace share his feelings and she gives up everything to be with him. She pulls him into her world and he comforts her when she needs him the most. As soon as his world is turned upside down, Grace pretty much abandons him and  he is left heart-broken and forever changed. However, his feelings for her have never wavered, no matter how angry he is. Seth is  the bad boy but he isn't as terrible as he lets everyone believe. Everything he did was because of his love for Grace and when she changed he finally saw his chance to be with her. She wants so badly to be with Josh but when Seth begins to pursue her, she sees a different side of him, one from long ago. Archer came across as bratty and self-centered. I did not like his character very much. Charlotte was an easily likable character. While everything they have ever known says they can’t be together, they have an  attraction to one another that can’t be explained. Archer is very protective of Grace and he is a very loyal friend and brother. Charlotte  is sweet and caring but she is holding a secret that will change everything.

*I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*      I really enjoyed Fall For Me, a fresh take on the angel genre, by K.A. Last.  Not only is the main character in this book a female angel, which is a rarity in itself, she also vampire hunter along with her human "brother." She ends up falling in love which leads to disastrous consequences that you can find out about by reading the book.      One of the only drawbacks with this book is the "insta-relationship" between Grace and Josh.  There didn't seem to be enough relationship development to back up the feelings they were proposed to have had for each other.  My other issue of this book is the love triangle that comes about in the end.  It was a little over-the-top, maybe it should've been introduced in the second book.  Even though it was a vital part of the story, I think the book would have benefited more to not have both an "insta-relationship" and a love triangle.  The combination of those two drawbacks and some of the other plot points made the story a bit cheesy at times.       On the other hand, I enjoyed the characters, the dual narration, and the rest of the story.  K.A. Last developed the characters pretty well, especially Grace.  I also appreciated the ability to become emotionally attached to the characters, especially because I haven't been able to for some of the book I have been reading lately, though those are mostly audiobooks.  It was given to get emotionally attached to Grace archer and the rest of the gang.  And while didn't always agree with all the actions that they took, I could rationalize why they would do them in my mind, even if I could see that it would be better if they didn't do certain things in the long run.        I don't think this was the best book of all time, but I really did like it, even with the issues that it contains.  It is entertaining, fun, and an emotional adventure.  I would definitely recommend this to people who like angel book and to those who like paranormal YA.      On a side note, I was reading this around the same time that Andie's season of the Bachelorette was on, so all I could imagine was Josh in the book looking like, was Josh from the show.  I don't think he fully fits the description of Josh in the book, but it worked, I guess.

Once I got used to the chapters flipping between the two main characters, I really enjoyed the story. Read the prequel first.. It's not needed but it explains some things between Grace and Seth. I laughed, I cried (can't tell you why, that will give too much away). Had a bit of everything in this one ... Angels, fallen angels, good and bad vamps. Sometimes the good are bad and the bad is good. The story builds to the end and a lot of he last few chapters wasn't expecting. Even if the early reading between the two different points of view are weird, stick to it...think you'll enjoy the story.

I received this book I exchange for an honest opinion. Grace is an Angel. Seth is an Angel until his fall... Why did he fall he loves Grace and its not allowed between Angels. Grace is reborn into a Protection Angel, her twin brother Archer is a Hunter. What do they Hunt Vampires. Grace is regularly fighting against Seth now that he is a fallen Angel and hangs out with the vampires. Grace and Archer go to boarding school, they have a shed where they live just outside the school grounds. They keep pretty much to them selves with the exception of Emma, Graces best friend who doesn't know who they are. Josh and Abby have been dating for 3 years. Until Josh breaks up with Abby. Ryan likes Emma but has never spoken to her. Charlotte is the new girl - but who is she. She is a vampire with a pure soul -how is that possible. Once Josh breaks up with Abby, him and Grace start to get close. Ryan and Emma hook up and things are ok until Grace gets called up by the council and told she is letting her human emotions get to her and that she must kill her new friend Charlotte. Grace refuses to do this sticking up for what she believes in. I really liked this story. It constantly kept me guessing. It is a total different take on angels. I loved the ring that the angels wore. I liked that we got the story from both Grace and Josh's side. Everything was just right about this story, pace, style of writing, characters. I totally wasn't expecting Charlottes secret. And Seth No..... I am glad there is a second book. I will be reading it. I would recommend this to anyone who likes vampire stories.

I was given a copy of this book so I could do review. I liked the book, It has few great lesson for Young adults to learn about the world we live in today. This book was a fast past and a lot of different twist and turns! I liked all the new ideas about angles, it was a fresh read. Loved all the characters, even tho they are are angles and vampires they act just like regular young adults. I like the idea of switching the character POV's but wish they did not over lap so much though and I wish it was from all the characters not just two of them. The writing was great. I can not wait to read the next book in the Tate chronicles!!

Fall For Me keeps you on your toes as it throws things at you that you don't see coming. I loved that about this book. Grace is faced with some very tough decisions. Fall for Me doesn't put heaven and angels in a very nice light, which bothered me quite a bit, but it's fiction and it sure does make for a good story. Fall for Me by K.A. Last  was provided to me by Xpresso Tours for review. The opinions are my own.

I was given this book in exchange for honest review (LoP). I really liked this book. Grace is a protection angel who is born over and over again as a twin in the Tate family. Archer is her twin hunter brother whom she protects. They fight vampires, go to high school and are the only surviving tates left of the family. Grace deals with love, right and wrong choices. I look forward to reading the next book in the series to find out what happens.

The prologue alone hooked me like no other. It began in a very whimsical manner, and conjured vivid imagery that immediately took me to another world .. and then ended on a note that refused to let me stop reading. I didn't have a choice, really. My house could have been burning to the ground and I would have simply walked across the road, out of harms way, my eyes never leaving the pages. Fall For Me is an awesome tale about Grace, a protection angel and vampire hunter, and her twin brother, Archer, who is also a vampire hunter, but very much human. Yeah, pretty crazy, right? Grace is the protagonist I have been craving in a book! She is smart, beautiful, badass, and not afraid to stand up for what she believes in, no matter the cost. She and Archer are high school seniors at a nearby boarding school by day and hunters by night. I love their witty banter and the way they speak to each other without saying a word - and no, I don't mean the traditional twin bond.  I've realized that I really dig school settings, though I always wonder how these kids keep attending school when all this other crap is going on in their lives. I would probably be like, "Yeah, I'm out.. vampires to kill, people dying, chaos ensuing. Shove your English paper up your rear, dude."  Grace and Archer's lives had been very routine until the night they found Charlotte, a vampire, hiding out from a group of vampires in the woods. What is a vampire doing running from other vampires? They don't kill their own kind. Grace and Archer find out that Charlotte had been searching for them for quite some time, but why would a vampire seek out vampire hunters? And what is the secret Charlotte keeps locked away in her mind that Grace can't penetrate? Oh, yeah... did I mention that Grace can read the thoughts of anyone she chooses? Badass, I tell you. Grace becomes smitten with Josh, a guy at her school, even though it's forbidden for an angel to have intimate feelings toward anyone, human or otherwise. Fall For Me is told from both Grace and Josh's POVs, which gives the story loads more depth. It is brimming with action, adventure, turmoil, and romance. There's a good guy and a bad boy, and I can't decide which I fancy more. Oh, who am I kidding? The bad boy always takes the cake! I highly recommend Fall For Me to all fans of paranormal and fantasy. This book will knock your socks off! I can't wait to read the prequel, Sacrifice.

This is like the perfect mix of my favorite things: angels & vampires. This book is a twist on the standard angels we are used to seeing. Grace is a pure soul. She's good all the way through, and she usually makes the right decision. After many years of being a Protection Angel she's tired of all the rules. Grace has a great group of friends around her. Josh is dealing with his only struggles. He has to deal with a tragedy that's happened in his past. There are plenty of moments I want to strangle this guy! But only because he makes boneheaded guy decisions. Seth is another character that proves to be a nuisance a lot of the time. He's broody, and dark, and hot. So naturally, I'm all about Seth. He meets all my angel requirements. :P Each of these characters strengths and weaknesses add to the story. Fall For Me is fast paced, and there's always a bit of action. I mean you can't have a novel about a Vampire Hunter, and there not be action. ;) We also get quite a bit of love, deception, and friendship. Drama seems to follow this group everywhere. You don't really know who's trying to do the right thing. I always love a little bit of mystery. You also find yourself standing with those that you didn't think you'd want anywhere near you. Overall, this is a good book. If you like angels and vampires, and are looking for something different, then definitely check this out.

Fall for Me is a emotional roller-coaster ride that will have your laughing, crying, fighting, loving, and hating all at the same time. Grace is the main character in this story. She is fierce, loyal, protective, and stubborn. Along with her twin brother Archer, they fight to eradicate the evil that stains the world. Seth is another character in this series. He is a Fallen Angel, that has got it really bad for Grace. He is patient in his pursuit and starts to slowly wear Grace down. The only problem with this is—Josh. Josh is a human that wants Grace for himself, and his is prepared to fight for her. Fall for Me is captivating, riveting, and mind blowing. The concept is refreshing and unique, and the characters all grab your heart and hold on. Grace, Seth, and Josh get entangled in a love triangle. Grace has to make a decision. Who will she pick? The mixture of supernaturals, the twists and turns, the angst and the beauty and ugliness of love will have you flipping pages faster and faster. This is a truly engaging story that will make you hunger for more! I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I really wasn’t sure what to think of this one.  I didn’t read the synopsis before I read the book, which I never do, I just started reading.  I was different! To go from fallen angel to vampire hunter… well, different, but it did work. Seth is so in love with Grace that he gives up everything in the prequel to become a fallen angel because he can never be with her.  In Fall for Me, Grace stands for her convictions and is cast out of Heaven. This was a great YA story, with a fun love triangle, and a whole angel, vampire thing was kind of fun. This one was just different enough to keep you entertained! And I promise the end will leave you eagerly awaiting the next book!

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. For these two angels, love is forbidden. But he has chosen to make the ultimate sacrifice for his angel. His best friend who he loved but could not stand to have just out of reach. He said the words to denounce his title and fell. She was left bewildered and alone Okay so the Prologue to this book brought me to tears!! The pain was so tangible that I had to make myself move on to chapter one! On a side note this was a great editing job no typos bravo! Grace and Archer are twins. She an Angel he a Hunter. They have no one but each other. Grace has a best friend, Emma but she has no idea about Grace's true identity. Then enters Josh and Grace feels the connection immediately but love for her is forbidden. There are truly good twists and turns in this book. I love love the characters and the storyline is great. I was interested and obsessively reading this book. It has love, laughter, pain and happiness and loads of action! Hard decisions have to be made and Grace must decide what is truly good. And who she can trust. She has to decide how to break her own heart..... I will be on pins and needles waiting for the next book in this series!

***Contains spoilers*** "Fall For Me" was definitely a delight to read. It was clean, had some action, romance, betrayal, joy and heartache all rolled up into one book. Never having read much about angels before I did not quite know what to expect, but I found myself really caught up in the story after the first few pages. The plot was fantastic and definitely unique. The character were 3 dimensional and I found myself pulled into their own individual stories. I really did love the story but I am giving it 4 stars and here is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The relationship Grace and her brother, Archer, was so real with Archer being the over protective brother and Grace being the sister who wants to do her own thing, I just loved it! The romance between Grace and Josh was so tender and sweet I was rooting for them to make it. However, not sure if that will ever happen and my question was after all of those years of being an angel what was so special about Josh that made her want to go against heaven and dare to enter into a relationship with a human? What was even more odd was how she did everything to be with Josh only to be willing throw it all away for Seth. Seriously? She hated him throughout most of the story but once he revealed his true feelings to her she was ready to shirk Josh and get rid of him and after all that Josh went through? I mean he became a vamp and not by his comment but hers.  Her love for Seth was totally unbelievable to me. There was never any mention of her having penned up feelings for Seth at all, so that while Seth thing, while good for tension, just came out of the blue even though they used to be good friends. And I find it even harder to believe that Grace was not more suspicious about him and his motives especially after the type of man he had become. Maybe I am over analyzing it? Another thing that threw me was her way too easy acceptance of Charlotte. I mean she is a vamp and even though she could not sense any evil in her why didn't Grace question how Charlotte came to be a lot more?I would think an angel with her skill level and devotional to being an angel world have prompted her to search for more answers before blindly trusting the "nice" vampire. What about Emily? How come no one thought to protect Emily? It didn't make sense to me since Grace was fighting vampires who wanted to kill her, the normal thing to do is to try and take out those who mean a lot. So, I found that a bit odd. Charlotte being a liar was a disappointment to me even though it was good and I expected something was up with her because she was just to good to be true. I think I was just as devastated when everyone found out the truth about her.  My favorite character had to be Josh and he brought out the most emotions in me and I believe it's because I feel he is the one who would up with the short end of the stick. Even though he knew his girlfriend was not human, he had no idea he would wind up in a live triangle as well becoming "other worldly". Grace turning her back on him was pretty darned foul. I would have been enraged too. I lost a lot of respect for Grace with how she handled the whole Josh/Seth thing. I love the fact that there was no sex in this book when so many YA novels are filled with it. Even though there were things that I felt just didn't make sense, it was really and truly a fantastic book. It made me think of the movies Supernatural for some reason. Maybe the angel/vamp spin is why. At any rate, I would recommend this every mom and tween/teen/YA and adult to read this book because it will entertain everyone who does. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Wow. This book was sweet and sad and bittersweet. It simply grabbed my heart. I have easily gotten interested in the characters and the story. There was pretty much everything in it - action, love, dangers, secrets, tears, twists and turns. Also it had some new ideas about the angels. And the cover is amazing and promising a good story. It gives me some kind of bittersweet feeling which makes me want to find out what this book is about. Oh, did I say it grabbed my heart? These characters and stories between them just make me feel a bunch of various feelings. And I want to feel this again. It leaves me egaer to know what will happen in the next book. This book was provided from the author in exchange for honest review.

3.75/5 Stars. I'm a huge paranormal genre fan, any kind of supernatural entities and I'm pretty much guaranteed to read it, this time we are focusing in Angels And Vampires. Grace is a Protection Angel, destined to be reborn into the Tate family over and over to protect them in their jobs as Vampire Hunters, Grace in this lifetime has a twin brother Archer, they are the only two Tate's left in this generation. One night while patrolling they come across a girl Charlotte, who they realise is a Vampire, but Grace who has the ability to read minds discovers that she has a pure soul and has never ever killed a human being, intrigued they seek her out never realising the huge secret that she is hiding will change both of their lives forever. Told in alternating perspectives each chapter, the other character sharing their story in the book is Josh, a human who has had a crush on Grace for years, and she for him but being together with a human is forbidden. Rounding out the cast is Fallen Angel Seth, whom Grace used to be friends with back before he fell and who nowadays spends his days hanging around with Vampires, but there is a story as to why he fell, their story is told in the prologue, also featured are the respective best-friends of said chapter holders Emma and Ryan, their lives will also be impacted in a major way in this book. I'd be very interested to see where the next book and the rest of the series goes, a good quick read, ready to pique your interest in the lives of the Tate family.
