Fangs for Freaks by Serena Robar

Fangs for Freaks SP version (Amazon)
Half-blood vampire protector Colby Blanchard knows theres nothing like a blood sister

Shes got the half-blood vampires freed from slavery or worse, execution and created a protective haven for them. Shes laid the smackdown for some way-needed new laws. Things should be great, right?

Um, not so much.

 except a sorority sister.

Psi Phi House, the sanctuary shes created for half-bloods, seems just like any other sorority on campus. The biggest difference: new pledges are being dumped on the front lawn, bound and gagged, left by the Vampire Tribunal. Even with its posh pink interior, things arent exactly cozy with the ladies of Psi Phi. One sister wants to return to her vegan lifestyle. Another is constantly itching for a fist fight. And royal bloodsucker Ileana Romanov thinks that everyone is her personal butler.

Trouble in the house?

With everything going on, Colbys pretty stressed and her hunky boyfriend, Vampire Investigator Thomas, is more interested in staking out than making out, so shes not getting a whole lot of relief on that front. And if keeping her half-blood sisters from each others throats wasnt hard enough, leaked info on their whereabouts is bringing on some ugly, unexpected attacks.

Either someone in the Tribunal wants them dead, or theres a spy in the house, watching them day or night. Or if its a full-blood, just night

About the Author

Serena Robar spent her school days addicted to reading books of all genres. She would tuck a tale in her open science book and pretend to be following along with the class when she was really lost in a fantasy world of happily ever after. Though her knowledge of mitochondria is woefully limited, thanks to various Historical romances, she can boast a vast array of trivia about the pirate trade of the 16th century, American pioneer life and Regency etiquette of the Ton. You can find her on the web at www.serenarobar.com.

Ok, this book was not as exciting as the first, but nonetheless it was a good read. Colby is now in charge of the new Psi Phi Sorority house that houses half-bloods. She meets and greets all the new girls when all of the suddend their is murder in the house. Someone on the inside is a spy. The book was well written and the plot was good. There was a lot od drama between Colby and Thomas. There was also a lot of insight on their relationship. Through out the whole book Colby and Thomas did nothing but fight. But to be frank, I think it was all Colby's fault not Thomas. But of course she blamed it all on Thomas. Colby in this book was just to fickle. She changed her mind constantly, her emotions were cold and then hot. She really needed to get a hold of herself. But I can see she could be stressed out due to the fact that now she is the most hated and unwanted thing in the vampire world. I was also angry at Colby because she seemed to want to do everything on her own. While I was glad that she was independent, she did have help. But noooo, she wanted to do it all on her won just causing more problems. That was really starting to annoy me. There was a sexual scene in the book, nothing to graphic, just enough to know what is going on

She smiled as she saw Lone Wolf running. He was a good adversary, if a bit cowardly.
