Fantasized By You is my first book by Steph Nuss. This book was a great surprise. Steph Nuss has created a well written book. Harper and Maverick's story is a nice change from all the angst filled, dark books on the market lately. Fantasized By You is an upbeat story. The characters are just fantastic! Ms Nuss has provided drama, suspense, humor and sizzle in this wonderful story. I enjoyed Fantasized By You and look forward to reading more from Steph Nuss int he future. Fantasized By You is book 2 in the Love In The City Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Fabulously fun and sexy romance with just enough drama to keep you guessing. Harper can’t seem to achieve the big O when having sex with other men then she crosses paths with Maverick, the sexy gym owner. Maverick is blown away by the sexy fashion designer and is shocked to learn she’s going to be his sisters future sister-in-law. They find themselves coming together over a common goal, to help people with eating disorders after losing someone that they both know to bulimia. What they don’t expect is to find something greater together. Their romance is fun, flirty and oh so sexy and filled with a great cast of characters around them. I'm so hooked on this series! This second book in the Love in the City series is my favorite at the moment. Maverick is totally swoon worthy and Harper is awesome! I love the building/growing relationships and friendships in this book. All the characters in the forefront are wonderful. In this book, we get the continuation of Carter and Elly's story as well as more of the secondary characters from the first book.
Author Steph Nuss does a beautiful job writing this book. The story flows so well and the characters are very well developed. I really don't have any complaints at all with this one. I can't wait to read the next book and learn Fletcher and Bayler's story!

This is the story of Maverick (Mav) and Harper, Elly's best friend since childhood and Carter's older sister. We met them both in the first book and everyone (apart from Carter it seems) knew that they would be perfect together.
Mav is dead set again Harper working/mentoring at his clinic as he feels that she is part of the industry that killed a friend of his. He is determined to not give her a 'free ride' or to like her. That changes when he actually meets her and speaks with her. Of course, Elly going in guns blazing might have something to do with his change of heart but Mav is a fair man and not afraid to admit when he is wrong.
This book, like Wanted By You, is visually pleasing with some great scenes in there for you to see, the paintball one for starters. Also like book 1 though is Steph Nuss' ability to weave in strong, powerful scenes in a gentle tale without them seeming out of place. This time she deals with bulimia, the fashion industry and a stalker! All packed into a wonderful, flowing contemporary romance.
Definitely one to keep and re-read, along with the rest of the series.

My Review:
Another hit out of the ballpark! Swoon, I am in love and totally wanting to fan-girl Steph Nuss. I adore her writing. Another lovely, well written, entertaining, and sensual love story. I cannot wait to see who the next book in the series will focus on, but I suspect it will have something to do with a couple that meet on New Year’s Eve. There was a nice set-up for that anyway ;) I hope I am paying attention when book three comes out.

I loved book one with Carter and Elly, but OMG, I have fallen in love with Maverick and Harper. I knew I was going to like this book I just didn't expect to fall so in love with these two. We briefly met Harper in book one and she is a fashion designer. I totally love that she is so down-to-earth and not snobby. I mean I would love to have her as my friend. She is on her way to turning thirty and she wonders if she is going to find love. Little does she know she is going to find it in the most unexpected place. Then, we have Maverick...yes, Maverick he is SO HOT! He steamed up my kindle screen a few times. Maverick doesn't do the fashion industry. As a matter of fact, he can't stand it. He lost a friend to an eating disorder. But there was just no denying the chemistry between Mav and Harper. He is the sweetest, most romantic man, and he treats he so beautifully. Case in point..."When I kissed you for the first time, I knew I wanted you to be the last woman I ever kissed for the rest of my life." ~Maverick~ I had been in a major book slump. This book totally pulled me out. I feel emotions when I read this series by Steph Nuss. I feel so connected to the characters. They almost feel like they are my family and friends. I laugh, cry, and I swoon right along with them. This is a book that needs to be read. I HIGHLY recommend it!!!
***I would like to add that each book deals with a serious issues. The color on the cover represents what each book is focusing on. They aren't just a little part of the book are dealt with throughout the entire book. You most definitely will become attached to the characters and feel for them. I know I did. It is wonderful to see them get help and go through the process to get better. You feel like you were right there with them every step of the way. ***

I LOVE THIS SERIES!! I could not wait for this book to be released and I tore into it and never looked back. The Love in the City series is one of my new favorites. Each book is a standalone but they all intertwine together. The story is continuously moving and picks up right where the last one left off but with a different set of characters. I highly recommend reading them in order otherwise there will be spoilers in this book.
Harper Jennings is a fashion designer in NYC. We met her briefly in book one and I fell in love with her character. She is super sweet and isn't the rich stuck up designer snob you would expect her to be. She is down to earth and has dealt with some serious issues. As she fast approaches thirty she thinks that she will never find love and be truly happy. Little did she know Maverick Jones was about to walk into her life and change all that.
"He was smart. He was gorgeous. He was everything I'd always dreamed about. Just when I was giving up the plan, Maverick Jones walked into my life and I couldn't stop thinking about him."
Maverick Jones is sex on a stick HOT. He owns Jones Jym and has become my favorite charater. I thought that Carter was sweet and husband material. He doesn't have anything on Maverick. OH MY GOODNESS. Maverick is completely swoon worthy and I loved every minute of his story.

This is the story of Harper and Maverick and I laughed, I swooned, I even cried. I became attached the characters and never let go. At first, what brings them together seems to be the one thing that will tear them apart. They both have a mutual friend that passed away yet they don't know one another. Maverick HATES the fashion industry and Harper just wants to help people beat the disease that took over her life for quite some time. Their first encounter was rough and seeing them build from that and form a true relationship was amazing. The angst level is in this book is very minimal. There are things that happen that will tear your heart out but they won't make you want to throw your kindle across the room. Harper and Maverick are my new favorite couple. Sorry Carter and Elly, but you have been replaced. Maverick is going to be VERY hard to top but I can't wait to see if Steph Nuss can do it.
My favorite part about this series is that we never know who's book is going to be next. All of the books are up on Goodreads but there are no synopsis on any of them. I love looking for clues to see who's book is going to be next. I think I have a pretty good idea who is coming next. I can't wait to see it unfold. I have a feeling the next book will be just as good if not better than this one. Each book seems to get better and better and the men in these books get hotter and even sweeter.
Another reason I love this series is because each book deals with a serious issue. The color on each cover represents the issue that is being dealt with in the book. They aren't just a little part of the book, they are something that is dealt with throughout the entire book and watching the characters evolve with it makes these books that much better. You will become attached to them and will feel like you are right there beside them while the figure everything out.
This series is one that I HIGHLY recommend.
