Phenomenal! Late to the show, but this was the first book that I read from this Author, and I have to say, Ms. Mosely is GOOD!! This book had me stunned right from the beginning & I rarely came back from that. There were many, many moments that are jaw-dropping! Despite the characters being younger than my normal reads, I was intrigued throughout. I had to know what was going to happen and how things would resolve themselves. This story is full of plenty of details about each character's background, that it is easy to feel as if you are there.. This is not a simple story, nothing superficial about any of it. It kept me intrigued from start to finish, and still left me wondering what to say about it, without giving anything away. Highly recommended to anyone who likes the bad boy/good girl romances, where there is a chance that they can overcome their pasts & make their relationship work.

There is no doubt that Kirsty Moseley can write and once again she's delivered an enjoyable YA read. I thought the story started off really strongly and I was sucked into it from the get go but mid way through it all stalled a little for me and felt somewhat stretched out, although I have to say it did end on a real high and the last quarter of the book was engrossing and dramatic. I liked the characters and Jamie in particular is a young man who will definitely pull at your heart strings and have you routing for him and Ellie is the perfect sweet girl match for him. This was an angsty book and it was filled with drama but for me, I needed more angst and edge which I felt was need with this story. This was a good read and overall I liked it but I wasn't blown away. However, I must admit I will certainly get the next book to see how it all pans out. 3.5 stars I was gifted a copy of this book from the Publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
