When you've lived your life as a criminal...
When you've done unspeakable things ...
When your soul has become dark and stained...

The path to redemption begins where you least expect it.

Kyle Sommerville is in hiding and doesn't want to be found by anyone. Certainly not by his quirky, free-spirited neighbor who's managed to push her way past the walls he's built around him. But Jane Cresson's indomitable will and insatiable curiosity about her reclusive neighbor makes it impossible for Kyle to stay immersed in his dark world.

Little by little, she claws through his shell.
Day by day, she gets him to smile a little more.
Night by night, they both find pleasure they never knew existed.

When Kyle's terrible past is exposed, Jane begins to think she's in over her head. Can her love for this broken man finally clear his path to redemption, or will Kyle's darkness finally extinguish every bit of hope she's put into him?

This book is so sweet and romantic yet has a dark side. The characters are well developed and there is no stupid drama that so many other romance novels have these days. Sawyer never disappoints. Loved it!

A stand-alone from the talented Sawyer Bennett and in my opinion she has another winner on her hands. This is the story of Kyle Sommerville and Jane Cresson. Not all is as it seems with Kyle who is in hiding and trying to avoid unwanted attention. Jane is intrigued and wants to get to know her broody and sexy neighbour; she knows there is more to him than meets the eye. Thanks to Jane’s determination, she manages to slowly break down the walls that Kyle has built up. This was not just a book about love, but a journey of discovery; Kyle needs to come to terms with his past and all that entails. Jane sees beneath the surface to the caring and kindness that is Kyle and with her help he comes to terms with his past. Jane is Kyle’s light in his darkness. I loved these two together and so wanted them to get a happily ever after. But will it last? Can their blossoming love survive the dangers of Kyle’s past and will Jane forgive him when his past is exposed? I always enjoy reading a Sawyer Bennett novel, her characters; particularly the women are so real. Jane is a strong, determined and feisty leading lady, one I really liked and would love to have as a friend. There was smoking hot romance, danger and on occasion sadness. Finding Kyle, is dark, gritty and raw and extremely well written and I didn’t want it to end.

Kyle Sommerville (Harding) was brought back from the dead and that's freaking amazing. OMG!! I honestly didn't see this one coming and I love it!! After bringing down the members of the MC Club Mayhem's Mission, Kyle awaits their trial to testify against them, but in order to succeed he needs to go into hiding and that's how he ends up as a caretaker of a lighthouse where he keeps to himself. Jane Cresson is Kyle's neighbor. She's persistent, quirky, sweet, stubborn, smart and very determined on putting down his walls and conquer his heart even though he's trying his hardest to ignore her and keep her away for her own good. Besides, after all the hideous things he did while working undercover he feels undeserving of anything good coming his way. I love the chemistry and connection that develops between Jane and Kyle and just how perfect and right they are for each other!! The interaction and dialogues between the Kyle and Jane are hilarious. The story is well-written and beautifully balanced with humor, romance, angst, suspense, action and much more capturing all emotions in a brilliant way. The cast of characters are likeable, believable, and just great. I just love it when an author is capable of pulling their reader's heart strings, and Author Sawyer Bennett is one of them!! Finding Kyle was one of my Top 5 Most Anticipated Reads for 2017 and one of the Best Books I have read so far! I highly recommend it!!

What a fantastic addition to Sawyer Bennetts books, this is a standalone but this is book about a character we have meet a few times before first in Shaken, not Stirred (Last Call Series) and then in Wicked Bond (Wicked Horse Series) and looking back Kyle Somerville always had a story to tell. Kyle had to become a criminal to protect his identity whilst working undercover for the ATF in a violent MC Club called Mayhem's Mission. He is now living a solitary life whilst waiting to give evidence against some of the members of Mayhem's Mission. Jane is quirky funny school teacher who ends up as Kyles neighbor, she has never been interested in tattooed bad boys well not until she spotted Kyle. She can't stop watching him and the more he pushes her away the more she pushes to get to know him. What Jane doesn't know is that by pushing him she is not only risking her heart she is risking her own safety. Will Kyle tell Jane all of his secrets and will she accept his past.....can they find a way to make it all work, you need to read the book to find out. I loved Kyle's story and Jane is the perfect match for him. He is Dark she is Light. Its a well written book that kept me intrigued from the first chapter. As always looking forward to the next book from Sawyer Bennett.

Finding Kyle is not exactly what I expected it to be. The synopsis leads you to believe that Kyle is a criminal, and while he may have done some heinous things, there was a reason behind it. He struggles with the things he’s done and doesn’t feel like he’s redeemable and worthy of Jane. It also doesn’t help that he knows his time at Misty Harbor has a time limit to it. However, no matter how hard he tries to push Jane away and keep distance between them, his quirky neighbor keeps coming back and is slowly worming her way into his life. If you can’t tell, I am a fan of Kyle’s character. While on the surface he was the epitome of a bad-boy, the truth was that he really wasn’t. Yeah, he did some really horrible things but he suffers from the choices he made and he made those choices for the greater good. There is no way he would have been able to not only infiltrate but earn the trust of the men in Mayhem’s Mission Motorcycle Club without proving himself and keeping his cover. These were bad men that needed to be taken down and Kyle did everything he could to earn their trust, learn their secrets, and collect enough evidence to take them down. However, it’s hard for him to come to terms with leading a normal life, let alone a life with Jane, when his hands are stained with so much blood. The internal battle he has, even though it’s not always so black and white in this novel, was what really drew me in to Kyle’s character. Finding Kyle is filled with a bunch of adorable scenes. Like the first time Jane brings him muffins. They’re awful and Kyle immediately throws them away. So the next time she brings him a homemade basket of goods he is cautious and asks her if there’s any baked goods in there before he accepts it. There’s also a scene where they just spend the day together painting a fence where Jane quizzes him on movie quotes. Basically, these two together were adorable together. Kyle was surly and stand-offish and really trying to get Jane to leave him alone, and Jane was just so perky and persistent in getting to know Kyle. It was just too cute watching them interact. I really enjoyed my time with Finding Kyle. It was a quick romantic read that was wonderfully written. I’ve read and really enjoyed the author’s Sugar Bowl series and after reading this, I’m learning that this is an author that I need to keep up on.

4.5 stars This was an emotional story of redemption. I cringed at times and laughed at others. There were definitely some grittier parts that were difficult to read, but overall it was an entertaining and compelling read. Finding Kyle is a stand alone, but the character of Kyle was introduced in 2 of the author's other series, Wicked Bond and Last Call. Kyle is the epitome of the tortured hero, but as the story progresses, you see the sweeter and softer side that has been buried for so long. I loved his inner monologue and he had some truly hilarious reactions to Jane's actions and baking. He was such a multidimensional character and I really enjoyed Jane's attempts to peel back those layers and break down his walls. Jane is quirky and almost too bubbly at times, but I loved her thoughtfulness, how important her family and friends were, and her glass half full personality. She was unapologetically dorky and it only made her more endearing. I was surprised by her tenacity to get to know Kyle, when he was so clearly giving her the cold shoulder/brush off. Her persistence paid off with some seriously sexy times though and I may never look at a paintbrush the same way again ;) The book could have had a little more suspense or action, but I liked that there wasn't any unnecessary love triangles or drama. It was always Kyle and Jane, and their attempts to keep the demons of the past at bay. I really enjoyed Kyle and Jane's story and the epilogue was very sweet and made my heart full!

## Deplorable. I can't even finish this. Why? Because, after reading what a horrible human being this guy is, I would never be able to see this pig as a hero. I don't care how deep undercover you are. It's one thing selling drugs, guns and even killing people BUT selling women into sex slavery, gang raping women, torturing women...come on Sawyer. How are we supposed to get past that? I usually enjoy your books. Ex-cons don't bother me, but this guy snorts coke and is doing a hooker up against a dirty wall in the first chapter. It's just plain gross. SKIP THIS. I CAN NEVER UN READ THIS.

I received a copy via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review After briefly meeting Kyle Sommerville in Wicked Bond when he saved Maggie from the Mahem's Mission MC, I was intrigued and wanting to know more about this mysterious biker/undercover cop. Luckily Sawyer Bennett didn't take long to give us another taste and a glimpse into this darkened hero's life who is hiding in a little town off the coast of Maine. Sawyer soon has us wrapped up in the back and forth between two characters who are complete polar opposites and soon find that they can't live without one another. Kyle and Jane keep readers twisted in knots and waiting for them to succumb to their desires. Kyle Sommerville is a dark and complicated man who believes that there is no hope for his redemption. That is until the most beautiful, ray of sunshine walks into his life and refuses to let him stay in his reclusive shell and he soon finds that he doesn't want to. The only problem is, he cannot give her “all” of him and be the man that she wants him to be. Kyle crawled inside my soul with his horrific past that haunts him and his belief that he doesn't deserve the good that Jane can give him. Not to mention his filthy sex depraved mind that has Jane's body swimming in need. Jane Cresson loves everything about her life in Misty Harbor Maine. She is an art teacher for all ages at the local middle school and high school, enjoys time with her best friend, is close to her parents..her life is complete. That is until a gorgeous, dark, and broody neighbor moves in across the street and won't even acknowledge her. Little does he know the her persistence and the optimism that she radiates is more than he can resist. I absolutely adored every moment with Jane. She kept me entertained with her sunny disposition and her endless plethora of movie quotes. If there is anyone who needs a little light in his life, it is most definitely Kyle and she is more than happy to give it to him...whether he wants it or not. Sawyer Bennett delivers a story that delves into the life of a hero tainted by an act that proves his goodness. I highly recommend Finding Kyle for a romance that touches the soul and shows the darkness that some people endure for the greater good. Sawyer Bennett is an amazing writer. Her series are vastly different yet equally addicting and resonate inside your soul whether she is writing about a sex club, hockey team, or revenge, a reader can't help but become a fan.

I LOVE this book. I love that Jane sees the REAL Kyle. I love that she does NOT take his horse hockey! I love that Kyle begins to see himself through Jane’s eyes, that he is NOT the man he portrayed for years for the ATF. But what I LOVED most…. NOPE, you must read this fabulous book. I will not give anything further away. I am glad Ms. Bennett told Kyle‘s story. I really appreciate the way Sawyer Bennett writes. She takes you into her stories in a way that take you away from some of the not so good things that may be going on in a person’s life. I know she did for me this week. Thank you, Sawyer Bennett! Thank you for reading my review.

I love Jane! She is a force to be reckoned with! She is an art teacher that works with middle to high school kids plus does her art free-lance on the side. She also tutors art students at her home. She has a love of movies and quotes movie lines and gives their movie title and release year! She puts in these little quips in with the conversation and Kyle just shakes his head at her. She is a riot! Jane is the eternal optimist and she is as tenuous as she is curious. Kyle her reclusive neighbor is a man she wants to figure out and she won’t take no for an answer. Kyle is very taciturn and keeps to himself. The last thing he wants is to get involved with anyone from this small Maine town. He doesn’t plan on staying here long. He doesn’t encourage her invitations, but that doesn’t stop Jane. She keeps at him. Until he can’t deny their chemistry any longer. There is so much to this story and I don’t want to give anything away about either Kyle or Jane. They have amazing chemistry and they both can’t deny what’s brewing between them. There is so much in Kyle’s history that he keeps secret and Jane tries to gently pry it out of him. Until it all explodes. My heart just dropped. Kyle and Jane both have a lot to work through. Kyle has to find forgiveness for himself and hopes Jane can forgive him and forgive his past. I really enjoyed every page and I highly recommend this book!

Sawyer Bennett is a genius with words. She has this wonderful flow and pace. You find yourself reading her whole book in hours just because you can’t stop the amazingness that is her people. I’m not going to go into the storyline. You don’t need me to redo Bennett’s synopsis and let out a bunch of secrets. If you like Bennett’s stories, this one isn’t any different. She’ll suck you in and you won’t be able to walk away. Kyle is friggin…. well I floved him… hard!! I’m serious; this story had everything in it. You’ve got the bad boy, sexy heart throb, sweet, innocent Jane, love, hot sex scenes, heart ache, lies, deceit, secrets, bad guys with guns, and… finally a HEA. I’m hoping we get a Miranda story! I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I will leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

Finding Kyle is a new standalone by one of my favorite authors, Sawyer Bennett. I have read all of her books and I love them all for different reasons. Finding Kyle is different than some of her other romances. It's not a flowery, lovey dovey story. We met Kyle in the Wicked Horse series and we saw enough of him to know he was into something big and that I had really strong feelings for him. If you haven't read that series, go now. Seriously. Go get it. Anyway, as I was saying…Kyle. He's a tough, tatted up unlikely hero. But deep down he's hurting over what he's done. He was deep undercover in the ATF and now he's hiding out awaiting trial. He wants to keep to himself and just pass the time until he leaves this small, picturesque town of Misty Harbor. The only trouble he's having is with his tenacious neighbor who won't leave him alone. She's hot, sexy and won't take a hint. He knows he should stay away from her since he's leaving and he might be in danger. The last thing he wants to do is put her in danger too. But she continues to show up with food, saying silly things and she gets under his skin. He's fighting his internal demons between the man he was forced to be while undercover and the man he truly is deep down inside. He doesn't believe he deserves to be happy and Jane is the sunniest, happiest thing in the world. Jane is so great! She cracked me up the entire book. Her relentless pursuit of Kyle was epic. I want to be her when I grow up. She's beautiful, funny, talented and sees something more in Kyle. She doesn't want to change him, she wants to know him. Will Kyle try to live in the moment and enjoy being with Jane? Will Jane stop herself from falling in love with Kyle? I loved this story. So much! I loved Kyle before and I'm so grateful to Sawyer for giving him his own story. It needed to be told. Honestly, I need more from Kyle and Jane! I want to kiss her again, because it's Jane. She's not a woman who I ever want to face away from me. It should be a sin to look that good, and it should be addressed in the Bible. Or maybe it is, because I'm pretty sure the way I'm coveting my neighbor has probably been written about a time or two. "Thought I was hot, huh?" "Oh shut up. You totally know you're hot."

Amazing!! Another incredible story by Sawyer Bennett that will carry you away, holding you mesmerized by her words and the scenes she is so skillfully able to create that you are lost to the real world, and the only thing that matters is reading the next page. I couldn’t get enough, until it was over and all I wanted to do is read it all over again. An emotionally charged and wickedly heated story about finding love and redemption when you least expect it. Watching Kyle and Jane fall in love was mesmerizing and oh so Swoon worthy.
Jane is everything Kyle didn’t want until he could no longer say no to his pesky, obnoxiously quirky, drop dead gorgeous, way to good to be mixed up with the likes of him neighbor. Jane can’t believe her good fortune when she sees her new neighbor. He is sinfully sexy, intriguing, and will make a great summer diversion for her.
Don’t miss this Intoxicating Intense and Deeply Seductive story! Enough heat to melt an iceberg! Do yourself a favor and start this one now! Another winner for Sawyer Bennett! Highly Recommended! I voluntarily agreed to read an ARC and post a honest review.

I just love Sawyer Bennett's books, I always know when I pick one up I'm in for a good time. Like all her books, this one is hard to put down and is a very enjoyable read! Kyle Sommerville (Harding) undercover ATF agent is dark and brooding, from past things he's done feels he doesn't deserve anything good. Jane Cresson is an artist and art teacher at the local schools, she's quirky, cute, light and good everything Kyle is not. He doesn't think he deserves anyone like her, and he's not going to be around long. Kyle tries to resist the quirky artist/art teacher, but even he isn't that strong. Kyle has small parts in other books Sawyer Bennett has written, most recently in Wicked Bond, and before that in Shaken Not Stirred. I was really glad to see him get his HEA. That's another thing I enjoy about the author's books is you frequently see previous couples reappearing, so you get those little snippets of how they are doing (you don't see any in this book, but you do in most of her books). While there are some dark themes suggested, they don't go into any detail for those that are squeamish about anything like that. I really enjoyed this book, and can't wait for her next book! Another homerun by Sawyer Bennett!!

Kyle is such a tortured soul - you just can't help but want him to find his HEA with Jane. Jane is almost too sweet to fall for Kyle's bad boy persona, but luckily she sees through it to the real and good man underneath. Jane's quirkiness adds some much needed humor to Kyle's life and her talent for movie quotes is impressive! And the banter between the two - it's such a treat. Of course - they have their ups and downs as Kyle has a pretty sordid past and has unresolved issues still to work out. Jane's strength is evident especially near the end and I'm glad to see that she wasn't a patsy and just took Kyle's terms as is. Oh - and if you've read any of Sawyer's other series - there's a fun connection to discover. All in all - another great read by Ms. Bennett!!

**This uncorrected advanced copy was provided by the publisher and author for an honest review** Kyle is living and working in Maine, hiding out until he must testify at trial. He keeps to himself, trying to come to terms with the sordid life he led as an undercover agent for the ATF (if you’ve read Wicked Bond and Shaken, Not Stirred, Kyle may be familiar). Jane is his neighbor, she is artistic, quirky, and persistent; not deterred by Kyle’s aloof and gruff personality. Gradually she gets under his skin until he finds himself spending time with her in and out of the bedroom. They have great chemistry and Kyle begins to remember how to laugh and enjoy life again until his past catches up with him, impacting Jane as well. This book is vintage Sawyer, steamy, sexy, funny, intriguing and a compulsive read.

Sawyer Bennett is a genius, and I love her work, this book is no exception. I love that we first met Kyle in the Wicked Bond series very briefly, but enough that he needed his own book to fill in a few pieces and what a treat it is for us. He is a character that I was most looking forward to read. Kyle has been deep undercover for five years, trying to bring down an entire motorcycle club and the affiliated people. This brings many conflicting emotions for Kyle, who deep down is a sensitive sole. He is now in hiding, opting to look after himself than trust the Witness Protection Program, and waiting for the court case to bring them all to justice. While hiding, Kyle is trying to reconcile the man he has become to who he was previous to the ATF job. Nothing in this time had him ready to meet up with Jane Cresson who is his neighbour. Jane has a way of getting under his skin and leaving him wanting more. She is a fun, quirky and geeky woman that I just adored. Being a movie buff myself, the quotes were interesting and made her so alluring, she is a refreshing female lead character. Having the dual POV's is always a winner to being able to get both perspectives and seeing each others side. I loved that Kyle was a loner in the beginning of the book, but with the help of Jane and her pushy ways, he not only got his old life back, but found he could have a wonderful life being with her. Highly recommend you pick this one up and find Kyle too. ** I received a copy for an honest review **

Finding Kyle is an amazing read! I read about Kyle in Wicked Bond and now he has his own book an so well deserved! Kyle Sommerville is an ATF an undercover agent who is in the hide until the trial of the motorcycle gang he infiltrated five years ago. He is hiding in the small town of Misty Harbor, Maine. Kyle tends to the Gray Birch Lighthouse. After witnessing everything he did and became one more gang member he feels dead inside. Life has nothing to offer him and he doesn't deserve anything from life. Jane is his next door neighbor. She is a happy, sparkly, quirky person. She is an art teacher and she is also an artist. She feels attracted to Kyle since the moment she saw him. These two personalities can't be more different but maybe Jane is exactly what Kyle needs...if he just lets her... Entertaining, funny, sweet. I had all those feelings while reading it. I couldn't put it down and I loved it from the very first page! Great read! Highly recommended! I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book

Sawyer Bennett does it again - she made me fall in love with Jane and Kyle so much so I didn't want the book to end! Kyle Sommerville has been through hell the last 5 yrs. An ATF agent working undercover with a notorious bike gang in Wyoming he has seen and done some of the most horrific things imaginable all in the name of bringing this group to an end. Now that the work is done Kyle is in hiding before he has to testify which brings him to Maine and a next door neighbor to the sweet and very beautiful Jane Cresson. Jane is not only beautiful she is quirky, talented and has an open personality that Kyle doesn't want to engage with. Jane is also persistent and wants to learn all she can about her mysterious neighbor. Kyle is so different than anyone else she has dated with all his tattoos and his brooding personality Jane wants to break him out of his shell. The more time they spend together the more Kyle finds he can't resist her but he knows that he can't stay - then when the danger finds Jane they both need to decide if they can live with Kyle's past. When I heard that Kyle was going to finally have his own story I was excited. After meeting him in The Wicked Horse series I found him closed off and not very friendly. Then meeting him again in Finding Kyle I found out that was just a cover - Ms Bennett writes Kyle with a caring hand and she has made him complex and in a lot of pain over what he had to do. The journey Kyle goes on felt authentic and that's to me is a testament to the writer. Jane is so much fun - I fell for her as soon as she started to quote movie lines, being a huge movie person myself I could totally relate to her. Who Jane is could have been over the top but Ms Bennett also makes her feel real. Jane and Kyle together is a perfect combination. I really hope there will be another book because Jane's best friend Miranda is a great character who has a hard time finding the right guy and I hope she finds him. If you look for a great standalone romance than dont look any further then Finding Sawyer - its as close to perfect as they come.

A quirky, sweet and sexy story about redemption and love. Kyle Sommerville is responsible for bringing down one of the biggest most atrocious MC clubs dealing in arms, drugs and sex slaves but at the cost of his soul. He’s not only seen but done thing he’ll never be able to forget, much less forgive himself for. At least it’s almost over and all he has to do is keep to himself and hide out for a few months while the trial begins and he testifies. It should be fairly easy compared to what he’s done during the last years, he just never counted on the effervescent, pushy and beautiful neighbor who’s crawled underneath his skin. Jane Cresson is done admiring her drop dead gorgeous neighbor who radiates danger and darkness from afar. Her terrible baked goods won’t help but her persistent curiosity, sunny personality and spontaneous movie quote spewing will be sure to make him smile and perhaps make him open up to her. When all is revealed though, will their love be enough? I just love a good redemption story, especially for a character I had previously met, liked and then mourned over. Yes, I thought Kyle was dead! It was a bittersweet moment in Wicked Bond when we were informed that the man who had risked his life and undercover work to save Maggie had been violently murdered during the MC’s takedown. So I was absolutely elated when Sawyer Bennett announced Kyle’s own story. Not only do I have Sawyer on my mandatory reading list because every time I open one of her books I know I’ll be glued to it, I know I’ll also have a big smile at the end, especially when the subject matter is a broken man who, even though I met briefly, knew deserved love and happiness. Sawyer Bennett creates a bad boy you can feast on. Of course Kyle is hot, surly and certainly rough around the edges. But there’s so much more to him beneath the surface. He’s lost in his own personal hell of self-loading and nightmares, feeling unworthy and barely human, unable to reincorporate himself into society and still underneath all that there’s the goodness that made him sacrifice his life for a greater good trying to break free with each encounter he has with Jane. Kyle isn’t the only one who thinks Jane is adorably cute. Her buoyancy spills off the pages. She’s kind and thoughtful with a nutty, upbeat personality. She was Kyle’s exact opposite and the perfect person to bring him out of him self-imposed lonely and dark confinement. She saw his goodness and gentleness behind the recluse façade and was determined to get past his walls and give him laughter, love and normalcy. The two of them together were fabulous. They intrigued each other as much as they were attracted to one another with a fun, sweet and sexy push and pull that felt right. Sawyer Bennett combines this with the right amount of drama and a swoony ending that’ll remind affirms why I love romance and her books so much. Although the story centers on Kyle and Jane, we are introduced to Jane’s BFF Miranda who is loyal and carefree. It would be great if she had her own book. Finding Kyle is a standalone contemporary romance by Sawyer Bennett. This flirty and sexy romance is written from both points of view with a happy ending.

WOW! What a great add to Sawyer's books.... We fist meet Kyle in the Last Call books and then again in the Wicked Horse series. You knew when you met him, he had a story.... you just did not understand how deep it was. A fun steamy read..... Kyle has lived his life as a criminal the last five years as a undercover ATF agent, regret the entire time with the things he witnessed and then was a part of to secure his place in the gang. The only thing keeping him going was that he was fighting for all the victims and would be victims. After he brought down the biker gang he was a part of, he was quickly taken into hiding until he could testify in the trail. All thinking he was dead and there really was no case without his testimony. After being shut in for several months awaiting trail, he was looking for a new place, a job and a new start until the trail that had been delayed started.... hence a move to a small town in Maine. Jane, a sweet teacher/artist who is just minding her own business getting ready for summer break does not know what she is in for when her new neighbor moves in. He is hot, built and has some tattoos, something she does not think she is interested in, yet she can't stop watching him, wanting to get to know him. He keeps to himself and she gets glimpse of him from time to time. She goes out of her way to meet and get to know the new man in town, even if he wants no part of it.... Kyle knowing that this is a very bad decision, he can't have any relationships.... it is not safe and he feels like this is the last thing he is deserving of. However, Jane puts up a good fight and breaks him down, but with a warning that this could end at anytime..... As they spend time together they both realize how special their time together is.... both knowing that there is an end date, just not what that date is and Jane thinking she can change his mind. Little does Jane know who she has just let into her life.... or what it could mean to her heart, safety and future. Will their feelings and time together be enough for them to make it work or will all the "lies" or questions that went unanswered that all come to the surface be more than Jane can deal with? Does Kyle even want anything more than a fling? A book about finding yourself, love, forgiveness and maybe a happily ever after.....

4.5 Help me, Obi-wan stars I’ve made no secret of that fact that Sawyer Bennett is one of my favourite authors, yet sometimes, there have been a few of her books that haven’t stirred me…at all. This one was what I would call the “real” Sawyer. We have met Kyle Sommerville before, a few times, but I have only met him in Wicked Bond, when he rescued the h of the story, Maggie. I adored that, and was delighted to get behind the story of the man that was living a stolen life. Kyle finds himself in limbo, waiting for the fallout following an undercover mission that had consumed his life. He didn’t like to think about the decisions he had made during that time, but he was plagued by its darkness. The light came in the form of Jane Cresson, who was quick to notice his presence, and quicker to garner his undivided attention. She was persistent and steadfast in her capacity to get noticed. Her arty ways were almost as endearing as her weakness for movie quotes, given an appropriate situation. This was Sawyer at her finest, bearing two quite contradictory characters who provided a compelling version of a struggle to love. Their exposure was our delight, and Sawyer executed her finest hand to present a story that encompassed compassion, humour and that feel good factor. Thoroughly enjoyed this, and re-iterates the esteem I hold for this lady. ARC generously supplied by the author in exchange for an honest review.
