About the Author

David D. Haines, Ph.D. is an immunologist and molecular cell biologist who has traveled the world. He is a U.S. Army veteran of Operation Desert Storm as a chemical weapons officer during the Kuwait War. He has lived in tunnels in Manhattan, traveled across Siberia on a train, and walked in polar bear territory in Norway. Whatever danger and unconventional situation comes his way, David faces it and tells the tale with great imagery.
