About the Author

Vivian Demuth is the author of a novel, Eyes of the Forest (Smoky Peace Press, 2007), and a poetry chapbook, Breathing Nose Mountain (Long Shot, 2004). Her work has appeared in journals and anthologies in Canada, Europe, Mexico, and the United States. She has worked as a park ranger and park warden, an outdoor educator, and as a fire lookout in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, where she hosts an annual Poetry on the Peaks event.
