Overview

The story of a woman who travels to England at the end of the Revolutionary war to rescue her grandson from his grandfather. She believes this man stole her son from her but finds a larger plot once she arrives at his estate. Along the way, there are many twists and turns and much danger for her and others on the estate, but she continues to try to understand what has happened and is determined to unravel all the mystery.

About the Author

S. J. Berry is a retiree who began to write after she no longer worked. She is active in the American Legion Auxiliary, being a Past President and has chaired many committees, also gone a lot of work for the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society as an interviewer. She was born in East Texas and married David Williamson, who made a career out of the navy. They raised four children and did a lot of traveling before retiring and settling in Southwest Georgia, where they live today.

This writer has written a good novel for a first attempt. It takes place in this state and involves people from our beginnings as a nation. I would recommend it to anyone.
