About the Author

Charlie was born in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1953. He earned a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Rhode Island in 1978 and owned and operated the Remillard School of Piano, where he taught from 1980 to 2005 in Exeter, Rhode Island. In 2005, the author moved to Ocala Florida, where he currently lives with his wife, Becky, and of course, his pal Flash. He works as a jazz pianist throughout most of central Florida and shares his musical gifts with many young students.
